The second monthly challenge at ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) lorelai_decaf is Alternate Universes. You can interpret this prompt any way you wish, from placing canon characters in a whole other universe to changing a single event in canon.
(And yes, I know this community isn't exactly active, but I'm going to keep posting challenges anyway.)
As always, any genre, rating and pairing (other than Luke/Lorelai) is allowed.
All entries in the challenge should be tagged with your username, characters and pairings, medium ("fic," "icons," etc.), and the challenge tag: "challenge: alternate universe."
The challenge will run until the end of the month, however, you should feel free to post challenge response fics at any time. |

The very first challenge at lorelai_decaf is Crossovers.
Any fandom, any genre, any rating. All Lorelai-centric pairings are welcome (crossover or otherwise), as are Lorelai-centric genfics. Additional pairings are allowed.
All entries in the challenge should be tagged with your username, characters and pairings, "crossover," additional fandom, medium ("fic," "icons," etc.), and the challenge tag: "challenge: crossover." (Don't worry if it seems like a lot of tags; if you miss some, we'll happily fix it up.)
The challenge will run until the end of the month. If there are enough challenge entries, voting may be held and banners awarded. |

Welcome to lorelai_decaf! If you have any questions/comments/suggestions, this is the place for them. I don't expect a huge amount of activity here, given that Luke/Lorelai is definitely the dominant pairing in Gilmore Girls fandom, but hopefully it'll become a place where people can find quality non-Luke/Lorelai fic, art, etc.
At this stage, I'm planning on running monthly challenges to encourage activity. If you have ideas for challenges, if you'd like to make some shiny graphics for the community, or if you'd like to volunteer or share anything else, go right ahead. And, as always, pimping is greatly appreciated, because there can never be too much Gilmore Girls. |
