    Ewwww
Ever since I moved, my hair has been disgusting. I use shampoo and conditioner in the shower and make sure to wash it off REALLY well. I absolutely scrub at my scalp. But it doesn't help at all - after I get out of the shower and my hair starts drying it feels like I have slathered gel on my hair and let it harden. My hair actually gets crunchy. I have no idea what to do. Is there anything I can use to help clarify my scalp? I wanted to buy apple cider vinegar but it was pretty expensive, and I know there is usually an adjustment period for it to actually start working. There aren't that many hair products available here, so is there any "household" solution to this? My hair is a huge grease ball.

    Another post about henna
On my quest to find body art quality henna, I discovered there is a shop near my house (about 3 miles away) that specializes in doing henna patterns. For those of you in the Ypsilanti/Ann Arbor area in michigan, it can be found here: http://hiralhenna.com/ Its over by the walmarts on Ellsworth.

I sent the owner an email, asking if she sold the henna itself, and explained I was trying to find good quality henna for my hair, and asked if she didnt sell it, if she could recommend a place to get it. It turns out she orders it from here: http://yhst-19195644311528.stores.yahoo.net/natural-hair-care-and-color.html
and she gave me a link to a group that is focused on henna and all of its cool qualities: http://www.hennatribe.com/ppd.php

Now that the info sharing is out of the way, I'm about to place my order, even though it wont be shipped until the 22nd of this month. I'm not sure how much i need. Im thinking of doing a 3:1 mix of henna and indigo (and the store owner has offered to give me the recipe she uses for her hair). How much would I need for Shoulder length hair that is stubborn with color, and fairly thick? Would 100g of each be enough? I'm still not sure if I'm doing straight henna or the 3:1 mix i mentioned. If it is safe for eyebrows too, I'll do straight henna. Thanks everyone!

    I need some hairstyle help
Tonight my fiance and I are going to see a showing of Phantom of the Opera, and I need some tips on something fancy to do with my hair. It's about 3 inches above my natural waist, so not terribly long let, and I do not know what to do with it. I'm wearing a black and gold cheongsam, and my hair is red. I'd like something with a slight asian theme to it, and I'd prefer an updo.

If you've got an ideas, let me know! I am SO not good at fancy hair. :-(
