    Photo reference help?
Not the usual place I would go but if you know a better place please direct me to it. :)

My hair is almost down to my butt right now but it's starting to get uncomfortable. As in really hurting my scalp when I put it up at work type uncomfortable I want to keep the length while still be creative with my hair....I want a modified mohawk. I'll be keeping the middle as long as it is now with the sides shaved. Only one problem, I don't have a reference photo to take to the hair stylist. Sounds simple enough but we've all had or heard of a hair stylists that decided to force their own "vision" on your hair.

    itchies and scratchies.
Okay, I have tried everything and I can't seem to get rid of my itchy scalp. It's gotten to the point where I don't know if something is irritating it, or is it me just scratching. It has been really bad for a month now. I have been off sulfates for about three, and still use 'cones (shampoo and some mousse). It has also been getting rather cold also, so could that be it? Please someone who knows more about hair, help! I haven't had long hair for very long. I've had it short most of my life, and have only had BSL/almost waist length hair for about three years now. Is my scalp getting smothered by my hair and needs some 'airing out'? I have also been using Henna once a month for the last three and I thought that would help but it hasn't. I don't have dandruff and no flaky bits come out. I do have a scab though from me just constantly scratching which has worried me. I feel an itch, so I scratch and it feels so good that I scratch and scratch and can't stop! Does anyone else do this? Could it be my shampoo? too much moisture? please help fellow longhairs!!!
