Merry meet!
Hi, im new to the community and just thought i would say hello! I have been a practising wiccan for ten years now and currently live in north london at uni. I don't know any other pagans in the area so would love to meet people following similar paths to me.

Blessed be!

welcome.

I can recommend going and hanging out at Treadwells Books, 34 Tavistock St, Covent Garden. Also once a month on a Friday they have an open circle in the evening.

There are certainly a lot of events on in London. The Pagan Federation North London region publishes a newsletter with details of events in your area. You should probably also check out their website: http://www.pflondon.org/

I know that they're starting a book group in North London (Finchley) this week and there's a apparently a monthly pub moot in Enfield. In the summer, they sometimes organise picnics and walks too. The Pagan Federation also hosts regular seasonal rituals at Conway Hall in Holborn.

There's also a couple of central London lecture moots (both with silly names) - "Secret Chiefs" and "The Moot with No Name". Both of these are at the Deveraux tavern (near Temple tube) on alternate Wednesdays.

I know Ponders End. Used to live in Edmonton, and am now based close by, but not quite London anymore. There is a shop called White Witch, opposite the abbey in Waltham Abbey which is very friendly, and full of nice things too.

Haven't been to the Enfield moot in years, so am not sure who runs it now, and what its like.

Have you checked out whether your Uni has a pagan society yet?

enfield? really? hmm....i actually think i may have been sat next to them once. well, my friend used to work in a pub in enfield and i would go and sit and once there were two ladies discussing paganism next to me. but that pub is closed now.

Poor you for living so close to ponder end. The uni campus is closing this month and once we are all gone they are putting loudspeakers on the mosque. joy! my uni has no pagan society and ive sent messages round but apparently there is no interest for one. sob! But when i can scrape bus fare together i will def go check out the abbey, and the shop :D thanks!
