I'm sure most of you probably saw that Michael Imperioli has joined the cast, but apparently it's official that Jason O'Mara is the only actor from the original pilot who wasn't recast. You can read about the recent Life on Mars panel here.

Here's hoping for a significantly less literal interpretation of the original UK pilot.

Hullo, hullo!

I was watching the NBA Finals* and ABC just played a new teaser trailer for Life on Mars. Not sure if this has been seen already, like on the net or anything. Not much new shown and it was pretty non-specific: basically showed Sam (O'Mara) hit by a car and waking up in the 70s. No further hints as to the rest of the cast, or even the location (I thought it looked a bit like L.A., but it was too quick to tell).

I guess this really is happening!

I stumbled on a blog which quotes the comments of one the test audience for the US Life on Mars pilot about the show. Apparently it is rather better than the trailer - but then again, it would be rather hard put to be worse than the trailer!
