Dr. Horrible was pretty cool.

Not like..amazing, but I would recommend it to the geeky folk I know.

Sleepy

  • Jul. 19th, 2008 at 9:04 PM
I spent the entire day standing xD I suppose it was worth it, but im really sleepy and I hardly did anything! I worked on the blades for my Misa costume ALL day. Well most the day. haha, from like 11 till 6:30 I was working on them with my Grandpa, and we finished them! except for painting which I will do tomorrow, after that I just have to put them back together and attach the wire and chains and such. =D They turned out better than I thought they would, im extremely pleased.

BTW, If you havent noticed already I changed the layout of my journal xD

Also...im so sad that IV is leaving Kisnate ;_; I love that boy so much. haha, well I hope to see Kisnate and continue and with IV the best of luck with what he is going to do :D.

Okay this is irritating. Amelie on DVD comes with subtitles in English and Spanish, no French. I can't find any French version of the script either. I downloaded some French subtitles but it seems they don't want to work in time with the movie. If someone could point me to a script, that would be awesome... I think I'll eventually have to end up buying the region 2 DVD of it when I have money x_x (what the fuck is with this region bullshit? and why can't a French movie have French subtitles????? argh D:< )

Omg

It felt like it would take forever to get here, but it's almost here!

I hope I don't have any issues with my steampunk skirt. >_<

last few days of holidays

  • Jul. 20th, 2008 at 12:56 PM

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I am so not ready for school

I saw batman like two days ago. It was awesome.
I have fashion parade soon. I must start organising things.
I had alot to write today but i cant put my thoughts together again. try again later.

Crazy dream last night synopsis: I went tagged with some school people (co-ed school ehhh?) without telling anybody and went to Shinjuku Closet child and saw a box with clothes in it labelled "$250/Y25 000 for the lot" and it had iron gate skirt in it amongst other cool things. But I only had $250 to spend and i woke up. People in my dreams were all randoms wtf.

Enough crazy talk for today.

I gave myself a hime cut three days ago, very spontaneously.
Reenactment of Eva's thought process: "wow, her haircut really suits her. I wonder how I'd look with a hime cut? Let's find out!"  *gets scissors and parts hair* SNIP

It looks fine luckily.

shopping shopping shopping

  • Jul. 19th, 2008 at 10:24 PM
My mom gave me $50 to spend and with it I bought many knee socks (because I love socks O_O) and a cute bow ring, also some Aerie underwears and a bra, my mom bought me a bra as well. We went out a second time to get some art supplies but AC Moore had very little and we ended up in Marshall's, where I helped my mom buy 3 really cute sweaters and 2 blouses and she bought me an awesome high-waisted denim skirt <3 <3 <3 I haven't been shopping in so long and it makes me happyyyyyyy. We ended up at the mall until closing and so we didn't get to check Michael's for art stuff. It's okay though because the Michael's is brand new and we found out it wasn't even open yet (grand opening tomorrow!). Maybe we will be able to go tomorrow :D

Muse, y Otras Cosas XDU

  • Jul. 19th, 2008 at 12:10 PM

sewing and ikea and stuff

  • Jul. 19th, 2008 at 4:24 PM
progress on the apron for the LARP con next weekend:
bought the fabric ^^ (black linen for 6,75 a meter...most expensive fabric I've bought so far -____-')

I bought the fabric at the IKEA in my hometown (yes, my hometown has an IKEA, the most amazing thing ever) and that was such a bad idea...you see, I'm moving out of Stefan and Alex's house, back to Erlangen, and I'm going to be sharing the flat with someone, so I don't need that much...buut I need a bed and a dresser and everything, and that stuff is so expensive, especially since I'm really picky about what I want. But I'll have to go measure the room first anyways, so that I can start picking out stuff. but ack, this will set the Japan money back pretty badly, I guess (unless I get the money from my parents out of my home ownership savings plan, cause furnishing a room is kind of like the first step to actually buying a flat, isn't it?)

other than that, my lungs still suck, I helped my dad carry up flooring into the flat we rent out (which is so fucking awesome,  I think I will have to move back here some day just so I can have that flat) and had to stop after 20 minutes cause I was coughing and wheezing. the flat is in the same building as my grandma's, so I visited her instead, it's so sad to see how badly she deteriorated in the last few months...I mean, yes, she's 80 years old, but until a few months ago she was still fit, did everything on her own and now she can barely cook for herself.

yayayayayayay~

I'm at the Macs at WCP typing now, and i've just walked around there to look around for things that we can do and places we can camp at. There's a million of beautiful trees and the fitness corner/play ground is just OMFG WOW.

The sea is pretty, except for those damned ship and yatches and kayaks and i-dunno-what camping there. D:

A cat named It

  • Jul. 19th, 2008 at 6:44 PM

She's four and a half months old, and hobbies apparently include shoving her face into everything and chewing on everything. Especially me. T_T XD Also, attempting to climb walls.

I haven't decided on her name yet! But I've been calling her Cally (short for Calico). She seems too pretty for a name like 'Mosaic'` cdx

XD XD XD That last bit was her. 9xzsigythhhhhhhh

XD XD XD XD As was that. Omg she won't leave me alone hahahahahaha.

I owe this blog an update...

  • Jul. 19th, 2008 at 9:38 AM
While life has been moving slowly, it barely feels like any time has past since my last update! Not much has happened in the last 9 days...

I've bought a new book called Gypsy that I'm going to read after I finish The Harsh Cry of the Heron. Stickers have been put on hiatus until I've finished my other design work that's in the pipelines... I have a cool idea for a Tshirt what I'm going to vector this week, and a poster design job for Norfolk Unsigned gigs. And I made scones!

Now I'm off to brush my teeth and clean my bike before I go to work :D
