I'm just curious about the London lolimarket thing. I asked a whole lot of questions about it earlier under an older entry about the market. I'd like to know if the market is really happening, where (address) it is happening and what the quest list thing actually means (how I can get in)

I'd also like to say hi to all british lolis, who seem to be a bit underground, because so far I haven't seen any lolis at all! 
I'm  from Finland and currently studying in University of Brighton. As for loli scene, I've been interested about it for a few years and active member in finnish loli forum and community. My favorite brand is Moi Meme Moitie but generally, anything dark and pretty and good quality goes...

So I thought this would be a good opportunity to ask if anyone were planning to attend this? I'm going to be running it this year, after I ran it in Ame '06  - I was unfortunately unable to attend last year's Ame due to being... not in the country. I don't really watch anime or anything anymore - but this will be a good way of getting to know some more lolita's I hope.

We haven't worked out all the details as of yet - but we are hoping to have more than a tea-party this year (whilst tea-parties are indeed wonderful, they do have to tendency to attract lots of people who eat all the food and then leave! Which rather defeats the object of the meet-up really) Ideas have been bandied around, and some have been deemed worth looking into further - as well as some being too impractical to implement on our part.
We're really hoping to have some sort of a panel/fashion show involved - though this is still tentative, as it relies deeply on participation from attendees (at least in a fashion show sense) and in my experience, often this participation can be unreliable at the least.

Could anyone who is attending, comment here? If you're interested, I'd really like to gather up a few more - shall we say, experienced - lolita's in order to hold a fashion show, and show off the different styles.

I was planning on going fabric shopping at the Birmingham Rag Market & Fancy Silks and wondered if anyone fancied joining me for a fun day of fabric browsing and tea drinking?  I was thinking of going sometime in the next fortnight.

I am in serious need of Loli fabric supplies and the rag market is the best place i know outside London for lovely fabric at amazing prices.  Even if you don't sew and fancy coming along anyway for some loli talk that would be super fun (I would certainly appreciate a second lolita opinion).  In addition, I am an experienced sewer and would be very happy to advise and guide someone who is thinking about doing a first loli sewing project!!

P.s does anyone know any cute tea rooms in central Birmingham?

Hidey ho UK lolitas, I was wondering is anyone who lives near Manchester was going to the Craft Stitch Show at Manchester Central (Gmex) at the end of this month? It's over three days and I thought it might be a good idea for a little meetup or something, especially for the sewing and crafty lolitas in the community.
I went myself last year and I found quite a lot of decent bits and bobs for sewing and such, and I'll be going again this year for deffinate anyway, so if anyone's interested, let me know and we can work out what day is best for everyone.

Hello everyone!
Just to let everyone know i have organised the lolita meet for Aprils Whitby Gothic Weekend and this time it is taking the form of a picnic in the garden of Pannett Museum (gorgeous place!) i have photos of the exact location if anyone needs them, basically its just to the left of the entrance to the gallery (as you are looking directly at it) to the ring of large stones, we shall be in the middle of there.

Sunday 27th April 2008, 12pm, Pannett Museum gardens, just to the left fo the main entrance
Please bring picnic baskets, blankets and flasks of tea!

Please note, i am trying to organise a bit of a photoshoot to go along with it, so put on your best filly dress, put on yer slap and start practising your poses as all photos taken will be sent onto the NEW english language version of the gothic lolita bible!!

So be you sweet, gothic, EGA, Guro or Wa Loli, everyone is welcome (as are spouses/partners!)

It's my birthday on Jan 27th. This is, of course, a Sunday, so I'm planning to celebrate on the 26th. I'm thinking of a meal out, a few drinks, then on to some clubbing. I know this may clash slightly with [Bad username: blondedebates meetup in Southampton on the 27th, but you're welcome to just come for the dinner, or join us at any stage. How many would possibly be interested? I'm not making this an all-out OMFG RORI-CHAN!!! thing,� because I don't know if people are going to be comfortable clubbing in full-on lolita. So, no dress code for dinner,� but the club is weird about people wearing jeans and "normal" clothes. ]
