I'm just curious about the London lolimarket thing. I asked a whole lot of questions about it earlier under an older entry about the market. I'd like to know if the market is really happening, where (address) it is happening and what the quest list thing actually means (how I can get in)

I'd also like to say hi to all british lolis, who seem to be a bit underground, because so far I haven't seen any lolis at all! 
I'm  from Finland and currently studying in University of Brighton. As for loli scene, I've been interested about it for a few years and active member in finnish loli forum and community. My favorite brand is Moi Meme Moitie but generally, anything dark and pretty and good quality goes...

LoliGothUK would like to present it's next theme: Light my Fire!

The clocks have turned back and it's getting colder and darker - so us Lolis start wearing our Autumn/Winter collections and wrapping up warm. So, let's light up this winter season with any photos or art related to fire!

Maybe you were recently at a bonfire night party playing with sparklers during Guy Fawkes night, or you have an impressive fireplace to get cosy in front of? Perhaps an elegant candlelit supper with a special someone? As long as it has a little fire, it's in!

LoligothUK would like to present it's first monthly theme: Rainy Days!

It's only lolitas in the UK that could pull off a theme like rainy days in the middle of summer! We are looking for people to post things in light of the current weather, rainy lolita. It's an excuse to run outside with an umbrella, try to lolify some welly boots, post artwork, photos which are new or old, lets fill this community with rainy day photos and make this unfortunate turn of weather a whole lot more fun!

Hi girls(and some guys? I know who you are XD)!

There has been a bit of drama overnight, but I think that we are all in agreement that more mods are a good thing to get this community back in order and ship-shape. Whilst this community has been neglected a little over the past 4-5 months, please remember that everyone has a life outside of LJ, and it can get some of us down - not meant to be an excuse, just a reason.

like_milk is a long time friend of mine, and has just appointed me as a new mod. I'm Sonia, I've been on loligothuk for a few years. You may have seen me at several UK anime/Japan-related events, almost always as a dealer/organiser/guest artist and always in Lolita! Nice to meet you. *curtseys*

I'm intending to try and sort out some stuff tonight for the info page so that it's got a few more things/clarification on there. I'm away most of next week teaching manga workshops, but when I get back I'd like to do a little more. Give us some time ^_^

I have a few ideas and cute things to introduce - I'd love to have a little map of the UK with lolis marked out on it, and put that stuff in the memories. More UK-centric product reviews, regularly - I subscribe to Vogue UK, perhaps scans of anything which catches a loli's eye that could be workable? The best tea shops, good locations for shoots. Monthly themes to encourage more photo shoots.

But I would also like to hear your suggestions - I saw a few on the recent posts, but they've gotten lost/compacted amongst a sea of lots of replies, so if I haven't touched on them already, could you put some of them here?

Functionally too, I would like members to report any spam etc. to me on a designated LJ post so that allows us to track whether a problem's been reported or not... I'll set something up soon. Of course, my email is available if you need to discuss a sensitive issue. Also, if this place gets more active, I think another 1-2 mods would be good too, I'll see if I can sort out another post about that in the near future :3
