Known to his friends as 'Mac', McGeorge Bundy was one of Kennedy's key advisers during the '14 Days' of the Cuban Missile Crisis.



As a member of ExComm, Bundy is remembered as one of the 'Owls' - one of the wise middle ground advisers who opted for 'quarantine' (blockade is an act of war) as opposed to the air strike of the 'hawks' or the diplomatic discussion of the 'doves'.

History students remember him fondly and believe his fan-base are in need of a comeback.

So, a friend posting about the Lambeth Walk caused me to visit the wiki page to look up what it is...

Apparently, Hitler decided that the dance was some form of Jewish shenanigans. So, the British Ministry of Information made a film, editing footage from The Triumph of Will, of Nazis doing the Lambeth Walk.

I present it here as, possibly, the first historical lol.
