About:This is a community for posting captioned photos of dachshund. In short, pictures of dachshunds with text on them, creating a humorous and/or cute result. If you are looking for a place to post pictures of your dachshund, we suggest you join one of the fine dachshund communities on LJ, such as [info]dachshundlovers or [info]dachshunds. There are more out there; just search for "dachshund" interests on LJ.

PLEASE READ THIS PAGE BEFORE YOU START POSTING.

Community Rules:

  1. Please play nice. We're all here to have fun.
  2. All posts must contain a captioned dachshund photo, except when requesting a caption.
  3. LJ-cuts are required for large images (more than 600px wide).
  4. Plain photos requesting captions must be behind an LJ-cut.
  5. Plain photos not requesting captions will be deleted.
  6. There is no rule #6.
  7. Macros of animals that are not dachshunds will be deleted.
  8. Videos are not considered macros and will be deleted.
  9. Posts cannot have their comments screened or disabled.
  10. No posting of dead, tortured, or otherwise mutilated dachshunds. Or for that matter, any other type of animal.
  11. Troublemakers will be banned at the discretion of the maintainer.
  12. Do not use the community for personal promotion of any kind.
  13. No obscene or offensive macros... there are other communities for these kinds of macros. We're trying to have fun here.
