AboutThis community is for people to post icons made from cat macros. There are a few rules:
1) If you have more than one icon to post, don't do each one in a separate post, for God's sake! Post up to fifty icons in each individual post, using LJ Cut as described in rule #2.
2) If posting more than five icons, put the rest under an LJ Cut.
3) If, after shrinking the macro to icon size, the text is difficult to read, please don't post it here. There's no joy for anybody in just looking at a cat pic with nothing to laugh about. Either re-do the text in an image editor or your El Jay maker tool, or skip it.
4) Give credit if you know who made the original macro and/or whose blank it came from.
5) Cat macro icons ONLY! Any posts not sticking to theme will be deleted by your ever-lovin' moderator(s).
6) No dead cats, no tortured cats.
7) Make sure your icons conform to LJ's icon standards (no more than 40K per image, and no larger than 100x100 pixels).
) To borrow a phrase from our parent community, "POST SOME FUCKING CATS!"
A fantastic tool for making instant icons can be found here: The El Jay Icon Maker. You can either upload images direct from your computer, specify the URL of the image, or if you install the Firefox plugin, you can right click any image you run across and turn it into an icon in just a couple of seconds. When you're satisfied with the icon just right click it, save it, and upload it to your images host. Easy as pie!
