Our dearest shadow Manager, Amanda, has demanded that I come up with a mission statement. Therefore:

The Local Music Machine is actually a front for my true goal of Global Domination, in which the best musicians of our time will rule the world, under the guidance of my political savvy and economical genius.

When you're done laughing, you may find the more realistic goals below.

Currently, my goal is to simply help the local bands of Tampa Bay (and the surrounding area) get their names out into the world. For now, it's that simple. I am seeking out correspondants in all fifty states to listen to music, and tell us what you think. Be honest, but try to be objective; many of you will not like the genres the bands play, but that does not mean they are not TALENTED.

So I suppose, in short, the Local Music Machine's mission statement is this;
"The goal of the Local Music Machine is to support and promote the local music of Tampa Bay by listening to their music, giving objective opinions, and spreading the word of these bands by any means possible."
