Hello and welcome to a public post in [info]lobo_luna. This community was designed to help writers work on their craft and encourage each other. More information about that can be found on the info page. After you have read it and our general rules, if you are interested in joining please request to do so. If one of our current members can vouch for you, you will be added quickly. If you are a new face, do not worry. One of our mods will contact you and ask you some questions about your writing life. I know this doesn't give you much to go on. You are welcome to contact me directly if you are interested but somewhat unsure of taking the leap. We don't bite. We merely moderate the membership and lock to posts to ensure that the community keeps a certain friendly atmosphere where members feel free to share.

Lobo Luna Mod Squad
1. If you are a new member, please post an introduction (the format and questions are available on the community profile page) before participating in the activities of the community.

2. LJ Cuts are your friend.

3. Tags are a must.

4. Include a Subject line (makes follow-up/tracking easier).

5. Adult content should be noted and cut. > PG-13

6. Trigger content should be noted and cut.

7. Don't be snotty or snarky. Drama will not be tolerated.

8. Give like you get. (If you seek crit, then crit others.) Feedback should be in the form of constructive critique and not destructive criticism.

9. Go beyond leaving ::hugs:: and one word comments. Please justify your opinions.

10. Be prepared for criticism. Do not take it personally. Embrace it. Learn from it. Move forward.

11. Be honest. (Don't avoid the real issues. We are here to learn and help. Make sure your reaction is to the work and not to the member. If you have negative reactions to particular subjects, and you decide to crit the work anyway, make sure you disclose this when you crit.)

12. Be balanced. (If you point out the bad, please offer the good when it is there.)


We are open to discussion about any rule you wish to challenge or evolve.
