Officially, LM.C broke into the scene late summer 2006, with a campaign of magazine photoshoots, online interviews, and radio show appearances. Their sound is fresh and new in the scene of cookie cutter bands, as they have created their own hybrid mixture of rock and rap, that's constantly growing and changing. The band is fronted by ex-PIERROT guitarist Aiji (アイジ), and ex-Miyavi guitarist Maya. With Maya taking over the vocals, and Aiji backing with guitar alongside their support band, they've made their mark on the industry none too subtly.
