Beer and Wi-Fi?
Any recommendations on places for graduate students to study? Must have beer AND free wi-fi! Prefer somewhere around Minneapolis or St. Paul (i.e. not the suburbs since most of us live in the cities), and it certainly doesn't have to be quiet either. Just computer- and student-friendly. Coffee shops aren't cutting it anymore.

Not sure about the WiFi, but the Black Dog Cafe in St Paul, next to the Tilsner Co-Op, has beer and is an excellent place to study.

They've fairly recently added wifi, its great. It's Prince and 4th Broadway...Something like that.

The 331 Club at the corner of 13th and university in NE. They have food, beer, drink specials, a large jukebox and free wi-fi.

the herkimer at lake and lyndale in uptown. brewpub german style beers and free wi-fi. only one wall outlet, though. two for one beer from 3 to 6pm.
