AboutSimply put, this community is made for the drama of election season. No, it's probably not the same election you're thinking about; this one, believe it or not, has even more drama. This is the LJ User Representative Election.
In what is apparently going to be yearly, the users of LiveJournal are given the choice to vote for a voice to represent them, putting democracy to corporation. There will be wank, for sure, and much srs bzns, but hopefully we can all find fun and maybe even someone to represent us through all of this garbage.
Bring us your campaign foolery. Pimp your candidate. Trash talk others'. Conduct and impromptu debate on the artistic merits of underage porn drawings. Whatever. Just bring it forth.
This community will be very loosely moderated. Anyone can join, and for the most part anything goes. There are, however, a few things that won't fly:
Personal Threats (different than insults, mind)
Posting humongoid posts or many pictures without a cut
Seizure-triggers without warning cut
Obvious spamming
Other than that, you make the rules. This is no safe space. Others might smack you down, but you probably won't get banninated.
So, come one, come all! Rep for you rep on the ticket!
