Dating is a dauting place. It's an island with great beaches in the brochures, but no one tells you that 90% of them are actually privately owned and therefore off-limits. It's a little holiday village with quaint houses that are nice to look at... for the first ten minutes before you start wondering what the hell else there is to do here. It's an industry-town, responsible for the production of everything vaguely unimportant. It makes me very confused and a little homesick, but flights off this damn island are more than I can ever afford.

The menu was:

Spinach and Radicchio salad with red onion and mandarin segments

Rosemary Roasted Roots

Green Beans with Shallots

Roasted Turkey with Sage, Gravy, and Dry Stuffing

and for dessert,

Baked Apples with toasted oats and toasted almonds, served with old cheddar.

It went... nearly as planned. We had to eat sooner than I expected because the bird was done WAY faster than intended. That was the only Ooops. Not bad!

Thank you Holly, Damedini, Utsi, and everyone else who offered advice. Especially Holly, who had the ideas that finally got me past the panic line.

Now to finish clean up and prepare for another run at this trench. X-foils still locked in attack position.

This was my favorite. They are called Golden Triangles.
Cauliflower, Peas, Potatoes and spices fried and served with a hot pepper honey.
AMAZING! DUH!
