From the 1931 James Whale melodrama, starring Mae Clarke & some creepy dude called Douglass Montgomery. Truth be told, I didn't even like this movie all that much. But Mae Clarke was really cute, & the cinematography was fab. Plus I really want to do a Red-Headed Woman set, but this was the first movie on the disc & I AM PSYCHOTICALLY OBSESSIVE-COMPULSIVE. XD So, enjoy, maybe.

From the 1932 Tod Browning film, starring a bunch of people you've never heard of. I didn't really intend to do this many. Don't feel bad; once you see them you'll see I didn't work very hard.

The last "Designing Women" set you will ever see from me. Yep, I finally finished the "Best Of" disc. The reason it took me so long to get around to doing the last episode is, I hate this episode. Which also explains why this is the smallest batch yet. Anyway, it's done & I'm free again. Cuz, you know, looking at Delta Burke all the time is sooo hard on me. ;)

Oh good. More. These are from "Reservations for Eight," that cute one with Delta Burke's husband Gerald McRaney. This one was frustrating to icon because Julia's boyfriend has all the good lines. I like how there wasn't a plot; it was basically "the ladies go somewhere for some reason & end up discussing gender roles for twenty minutes." Good times. Oh DW, you can truly do no wrong.

More "Designing Women" icons for you, from the Season 2 episode "Killing All the Right People." Not exactly a hilarious ep -- I cried while making the screencaps -- but there are a few funny lines, especially from Suzanne. Most of these are just Delta Burke making silly faces. A lot of them probably should've been nixed, but who cares, I'm sharing anyway.

Entirely too many icons from the pilot episode of "Designing Women." I blame Annie Potts & her wide array of screencappable facial expressions. I intend to do the other four episodes from the "Best Of" DVD as well. The pilot is the weird one, where Suzanne isn't Southern & everyone calls Mary Jo just "Jo."

I know -- the relative lack of Charlene & the fact that this didn't turn into a Delta Burke goddess worship session worries me, too. IT'S NOT MY FAULT MARY JO HAS ALL THE BEST LINES. (Julia's are all too long to fit into a textbox.)

Behold! 'Tis the triumphant return of the Esoteric Icon Batch That Is So Obscure Nobody But Me Would Ever Want To Use Them! ;)
Yeah, so, I didn't intend to post these, but then I made too many, & so? Here I go. These are of Joan Crawford & her close friend, actor & interior decorator William Haines. Because they were cute together, & I was bored.

At some point in my life I got too lazy to colorize, so if you want to do it yourself, go right ahead.
From the 1932 film starring Jean Harlow. I expected to make more of these, but I suppose it's quality & not quantity?
