I finally got my money back on the Dangerous Liasons bustier - in full, including postage :D
Unfortunately, I can't leave them negative feedback! I get this message:
Item 330226557720 was not found because: o This item number does not exist o Or you have already left feedback.
The auction still shows, so it does exist, and I've definitely not left feedback yet.. Has it been too long? (In which case, that's eBay's fault!)
I just think it's rather unfair that this shoddy seller won't have a negative rating when he was so awful to deal with!

Beware of eBay user jackatgothicradio (or Jack Stauss) - they continually lie about the condition of their items, and refuse to give a full refund.
I bought a Dangerous Liasions II bustier from them and sent payment on the 13th April (auction number 330226557720), which was described as being brand new and in 'perfect condition'. They originally refused to ship to the UK, so it was sent to elektrosmog - all fine there. But then when it arrived, it was in obviously used condition, having obviously been laced too tightly as the seams were splitting. They were away on holiday for a few weeks, but since they have come back their communication has been sparse and unhelpful. Originally they said I could return the bustier and they would issue a full refund on arrival (provided it was in poor condition), minus postage costs, which was fine with me. However, they then wouldn't give me their address to send it to. After waiting over a week for their address, I filed a paypal dispute, and they have only just given me their address. Now, they have said that if it is received by them in poor condition, they will only give a PARTIAL refund (despite it being their mistake, and they are the ones who lied in the auction listing), because they could have worn it in that time.
This is a totally unacceptable way to treat a buyer; I would not expect only a partial refund (and what that means, is anyone's guess) if I returned an item to a store. So why do it to me? If you are still planning on wearing an item, DO NOT SELL IT. That is the most ridiculous reason I've ever heard, especially when they are the ones who have lied about the item's condition - they are still insisting that it was in perfect condition when it left their hands. (So what, the postman wore it and then put it back in the envelope?)
I have given up hope of receiving any of my money back, and I advise you all to stay clear.

dragonappartion and I were both screwed by ebay seller mysticalsales. He never mentioned the damages in his auction for flight stimulator capris. When I got my capris and told him that they were severly damaged he said he had no idea. Because of that, I asked for a partial refund. Now that I know he was aware of the damages before he sent them to me, I asked for a full refund. I will see what his reply is. What a &^(*bag! Stay far away from this guy!

If you were deadbeated on the swap, please out them. Anyone who failed to pull their end of the line will not be participating in the next swap. This is really important so we dont let greedy little theives in.
I think I have been deadbeated, but I am trying so hard to give this girl the benefit of the doubt. I'm giving it until Friday.

12:55 am - GothicAuctions Deadbeated
|

Awhile ago one of the gals posted this WONDERFUL On the Fringe I set on GA...
http://gothicauctions.com/?c=ShowItem&i=732787&archive=1 http://gothicauctions.com/?c=ShowItem&i=732786&archive=1
It took me several weeks to clear as the auction ended when I was on vacation and then Pay Alert took almost a week to verify my checking account, then transfer funds from checking to Pay Alert, then pay the seller for the item from there, talking about 3 weeks but we stayed in constant contact.
I pay, hear nothing from the seller - then I threaten to call my bank and she tells me she shipped out the day after she got my money but I never got written proof. Time goes by hoping it was returned to sender or something - nothing. She then sayd I can have a refund or pick another item from her store.
Here I am almost 3 months later with NOTHING to show for it and out $37, thanks a lot!

I thought this was a nice idea for matching ebay feedback to a LJ user here, I am not sure if this is recent but you can upload an icon image to ebay to match one on LJ etc! With this you can be sure the feedback you are being linked to by someone is genuinely theirs by matching the image they upload. :)
http://myworld.ebay.com/[username here]_ed=_p1
or go to your feedback and click on the image to add one!

3:29 pm - Soooooooo........................

I bought a piece of Lippy from a seller on ebay who said the the dress had been worn only a couple of times. I received the dress and immediately noticed that the original black concealed zip had been replaced with a navy blue normal zip that was 2-3" shorter than the full back of the dress, it also had loose threads and some little bits of damage to the detailing. So I sent this to her:
"Hey there,
I received the dress today and I am very disappointed. Nowhere in your auction did you mention that the zip had been replaced - with a zip 2" too short and in navy blue! You also didn't mention the loose threads and stitching in your auction. Please email me immediately so we may discuss a solution to this issue.
Thanks
Kez x"
I received in response this:
"The dress was from an outlet Lipservice shop on Ebay. I've never noticed the zip being replaced! And in my auction I mentioned that the item is used, I've never said it's in brand new condition. What do you expect from a used item!"
This got my goat up immediately - what a total cow!
I therefore sent these:
This is terrible customer service - yes it's a used item but for christ sake if you know the zip has been replaced then mention it. Just because something is used does not mean it has been altered which it obviously has - if you cannot provide a solution for this then I shall be reporting you to both paypal and ebay and leaving neg feedback.
( I cocked up here clearly as I was fuming so I resent this)
Ok re-read your message - so you didn't notice the zip had been replaced, um if it wasn't 2" shorter and navy blue then I could accept that - the fact is the item is not as described. Used item or not - you should describe flaws in your auction. Like I said offer me a solution say the cost of a seamstress to fit a new zip and I'll be happy with that - used again does not mean altered if you cannot agree to this then I'm afraid I will have to ask for a full refund as item not as described and complaints will be filed - sorry to do this but it's just not on!
She has failed to respond :(
What should I do? Btw I'm not usually so snarky in email correspondance but she really got my goat :(

11:59 pm - Wasn't going to do this but...
|

quaere_verum
|
So it seems you can only get a response from a seller unless you post publicly about your experience with them.
I'd act as if I didn't know the seller was going to see my post about my unpleasant experience recently, but in all honesty...that was the point. There was no response to a simple, polite and common question (when dealing in retail, especially with lip service). So I was merely acting to advise others of my experience, not telling them to not purchase from the seller...I left that choice up to every single individual who read my post. Also, the purpose of my post was to offer up for sale the item which was purchased from the seller that did not fit, as the seller would not respond to my question of exchange and furthermore had banned me from purchasing the right size. I accomplished this and will have yet another satisfied lippy addict, unlike the seller in question.
I received a message on eBay in regards to my dissatisfied post earlier this week. It reads:
"Dear pittiest_taco,
hi
i am aware of youR live journal blog
http://community.livejournal.com/lippy_addicts/3846283.html
quite slanderess but enjoyable in it's dramatic effect especially the promotion of dedgothgirl
Is there anything else you want to say to me.
seeing you have total omniscience maybe you'd like to get a little more verbose with me.
you and your worldly 5 feedbacks of experience
- spookykisses Answer the question
Item and user details Item Title: Lip Service BOUDOIR Gothic BLACK lace ON BLACK Dress L Item Number: 360017967152 Item URL: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=360017967152 End Date: Jan-31-08 18:16:34 PST From User: spookykisses (5292) 99.4% Positive Feedback"
Now, first and foremost I'd advise ANYONE I know against sending harassing messages directly to someone if:
a) You cannot check your spelling.
b) You're not quite sure of the function of proper punctuation and grammar, let alone using words that don't exist.
and finally, c) If there's no real point to it as far as being a mature adult.
So, that being said I add ebay user spookykisses to my avoided sellers list, which...in fact didn't even exist until now. And of course I got the negative feedback in return for that which was left for the seller, along with a blatant LIE stating that I am the sellers ebay competition with lip service...I thought I was a valued customer?
P.S.
Slander-the action or crime of making false/damaging statements about someone.
And I believe the word you were looking for was "slanderous".
:D
Trick or treat, eat your heart out.

Just a big thanks to all the lovelies here who helped me with my issues with the evil eleanorax (or spacystacey or whatever bloody name she's using). BIG thanks to syntheticsweets who helped me with my tech-retard-ness :D
I've now opened up a claim against her, and would strongly urge everyone else ripped off to do the same. I don't think PP would fail to notice a whole bunch of claims against 'Stuart Simcox' for non-receipt of goods...
*sigh*
I'm still so very cranky though....

I know a lot of girls on lippy_addicts have been robbed so why doesn't everyone get their information together and go to a fraud team or something?
People like this seriously need to be stopped from taking advantage of people. I'm seriously pi$$ed off about the whole thing (I wasn't taken advantage of) but it affects the whole community because we all buy/sell and I will only purchase items from people that are WELL KNOWN.
Does anyone know where this bitch lives? Like which state does she live in? Do you know her last name? Has anyone done a search in the white pages or something? If you can at least find out where the lives, I think everyone should write a letter off to her local Police station?

I've only been on this community for a few months. and buying and selling things on here for even less time.
and so after reading everything in lippy-addicts, i thought I'd jump on here...
I've been ripped off too... :( first time ever. and i'm totally gutted.
i posted this post on 11th January http://community.livejournal.com/lippy_addicts/3644262.html
and i received a reply from one eleanorax who offered to sell me the one item i was desperately looking for. naturally, i was stoked. and sent off a payment of $52 USD on the 19th January to one:
Transfer to: Stuart Simcox Email: missscarie@aol.com Total Amount: -$52.00 USD
FUCK.
and here i was thinking that it was just australia post being uber-slow, like usual. (especially as i'm still waiting to receive goodies from a more reputed seller)
SO, can someone help me please. I've never filed a claim with paypal before. How long do I have to file the claim, and how the hell do i do it?

I'm yet another Spacystaceyy victim here.
Some of you may remember that I got mad at her for trying to RESELL the item I bought from her. it was a green Drastik Plastik bustier. Her excuse was that she'd tried to contact me because I owed her $8 more to make up the $98 that I bought it for. I'd only sent her $90 and there was a mix up. Anyway, I sent her the $8 to make it up and yet I still don't have it. It's been MONTHS now. i may have her fathers paypal address and thus have her fathers email address, I'll have a look at my paypal records

Like everyone else, I took up an offer too good to be true.
On 13th November 2007 I paid for a Hounds minidress, totalling $60 USD. Paid using paypal, debited from my bank acct, non credit card. Exactly a month later, when I hadn't received the dress, I emailed her asking where it was. She indicated it had been returned to her, as she forgot to include a whole line of the address on the parcel.
I agreed to let her reship it, with her covering the cost. Unfortunately, this was to occur over the christmas period, so I gave it some extra time to arrive. She also indicated she'd put delivery confirmation on it!
It never turned up. Again exactly a month later (13th January) I got in touch with her, via leaving a post in lippy addicts, asking where it was. I got a story over email indicating she was moving and blah blah she had delivery confirmation for it and she would get me the tracking number. (see this post)
This never happened, of course, and here we are, almost 3 months later, me $60USD poorer and her with buckets of money from all of us. Of course it's too late to claim anything through paypal.
This is the first, and hopefully last, time I have been ripped off on lippy addicts.

Yes , you probably got ripped off.... this person has done this to several different people using different names.... SpacyStacy, Boothestrange, and other alias's. Everyone should stay away from any user name where they ask you to pay to the name misscarie@aol.com ,or xxx.stacy@yahoo.com I waited too long on paypal to dispute mine, and lost out on 121$. If you have paid through paypal PLEASE dispute it soon!
