It's aliiiiiiive!
Yea, it's art time. Working on a submission for Aphrodisia and possibly Expose. Is that too much double-dipping?

This is a piece of the painting - a character from my novel-in-progress. Lady Helen, Third Seat of Hajinn.

Ignore that bit of collar, I was experimenting to see whether or not I wanted to bead it or embroider it. The beading looks way too Las Vegas.

And then there's my entry into the bioluminescent portfolio. Here, again, is a piece of it.

Both of those things are awesome. I'm amazed that you got so much done since your last post, that looks like it was a lot of work.

sorry that was immature. anyway. you already know I think these WIPs look cool so far, but is it common for that people to wear forehead gems like that then? I thought you had helen wearing sapphires on an actual headband type thing in your novel. and did you ever finish that aeluras/rajheem piece btw?

I've got finished pieces on my personal journal, but no cool new sketchies to post. :( lately I've been stuck on (har har) post-it notes for sketching though. they're great.

Yea, there's an actual headband thing. I haven't drawn it in yet. I finished that aeluras/rajheem piece a while ago, but the anatomy's all wonky and awful, so I won't post that here.
