One bit at a time...
Don't feel much like painting (or writing, for that matter) since Amazu passed away. I'm used to him sitting in my lap while I work. Here's what the cover looks like so far. Hopefully I can get back to it soon. I know it'll be easier once I put pen to tablet, but I haven't been able to get to that point yet.





I finished a little oil painting, "Illuminate", as well and posted it to ebay. It sold for the buy it now within five minutes of my posting it. Maybe I should charge more.

I used to be really really shitty at it. I took a bunch of photos of my sister in a bunch of different lighting and started sketching those. It super-much helped. Forced me to be more bold with contrast and color.

I really like both of those paintings; you have improved SO much. You were always VERY talented, but WOW. BTW, I would love to own one of your paintings someday...maybe a commission of my kitties, since you and I share that passion...but I also love your fairies and would love one of those as well. Anyway, I figure I have so many gifted artist friends that I really love the idea of displaying their work, both because it's amazing, and because I can be reminded of you when I'm far away by looking at my walls.

Any paintings up for sale now?

OMG, I'm dumb. I missed this. This is from October? I'm sooooo lame.

Dante and Frankie would make awesome subjects, the little lion kitties. I used to actually draw pets and wildlife before I started drawing people. I'm working on another fairy painting - she's a fierce moth fairy - don't mess with her or she'll gut you with her spear...and she'll look HAWT doing it!
