Little Ashes In Los Angeles?

  • Oct. 10th, 2008 at 8:27 PM
Thanks to [info]pinkbutterflies for allowing this.

My friend Niki ([info]infektion) has been working extremely hard for this cause.

We've all read wonderful reviews for Rob Pattinson's film, Little Ashes, but it's not showing in many places (yet) so we're trying to convince Regent Releasing to have a screening of it in Los Angeles. So far, Niki has gotten Regency Theaters to agree to let her host a screening of Little Ashes at their theaters and she's gotten a woman named Stacy Swim (she's a writer/correspondent for an entertainment website called The Entertainment Zone that is also an IMDB news provider and receives the press releases from Regent) to agree to promote our cause on her blog.

We have a petition started and we're asking Southern California Rob fans who would be interested in seeing the film in LA to sign it, to kinda show them that we're serious and that people will actually go to see it.

If you live in Southern California (or anywhere else and you're willing to travel if there's a showing) please sign the petition. Signing it doesn't guarantee that there will be a screening, nor does it guarantee that you'll get tickets if a showing happens but it's a step towards showing them we're very interested.

Here's the link to the petition:

Please help us out :)

tMF's Profile on Robert Pattinson

  • Oct. 9th, 2008 at 4:42 PM

The Movie Fanatic Site has written a profile on Rob. A thorough job it is too.

Another article from Yahoo OMG! about Rob...

Nothing we don't already know but... It's Rob! *shrug* Right this way!
This is one poll I feel I have to respond to. Depp or Jude Law. No question in my mind. Depp all the way.

Early feedback from last night's world premiere of Little Ashes

readromance.blog.co.uk/2008/10/07/little-ashes-at-the-riverdance-festival-4837045

The film sounds wonderful. I love this comment

The passion between Robert Pattinson playing Dali and Javier Beltran as Lorca is wonderful, when they are happy you can't help but smile with them and when they are tense you will be gripping the armrests of your chair.

Also in another blog it says Rob has a masturbation scene, a gay sex scene, plus a nude scene where he stands before a mirror looking at himself (his penis is tucked out of sight!)  so I think I'll be fanning myself throghout the film.
The following message was posted on the Movie Fanatic's site on Little Ashes:

This just in! Raindance has added a Second Screening!

I just received some amazing news from the Producers at Aria Films...

Rob's Song

  • Oct. 6th, 2008 at 11:37 PM
I wasn't going to mention this, but this thread/topic got me a little worried.

On LastFM, on Robert's page, some songs are called "Esme's Favorite" and "Bella's Lullaby".

View it here!

And now that I have another look there's even more.

WHAT HAVE I MISSED??? I have only heard four songs!
Robert Pattinson has been chosen by the Hollywood Film Festival Award Committee as the recipient of this year’s New Hollywood Award. Hi guys,
I did a Robert spam, which well mostly involves his awesome mop of hair :P
Follow the fake cut.

http://www.robert-pattinson.co.uk/ says Rob was on the cover of Hollywood Reporter. There's an article on hollywoodreporter.com about Twilight. GO HERE FOR THE ARTICLE. There are two pages, so make sure you click the next button.

The Hollywood Reporter cover can be found here on Myspace. The comment said that the person bought it in Manhattan, so I'm not sure whether they have it anywhere else.

VMan has sent Everglow an exclusive image from the upcoming Twilight feature in the Winter issue (on sale October 21). Not only will the guys of Twilight be featured in the magazine but there will be tons of pictures and more on the relaunch of the new VMan website by the end of next week.

Since it's an exclusive, I didn't want to post it here, since people tend to not read and take images even when it says "please do not take". So just head on over to Everglow to take a look!
