Did anyone pick up on the fact that the cover of Forever Dawn has a brown haired girl with red eyes (Bella?). While Sm's site again I just noticed that. Have you noticed that before, and if so did you say "That's Bella as a vampire" or pick up that she would become one?

Well, I've been wanting to send a fan letter to Rob. I know, I know, another crazy fan, well, I'm not too crazy. Just want to show my appreciation and acknowledge the work he's put into all of his projects. Well, I've heard many stories and watched many youtube videos that he replies. I have no doubt about that. But I was just wondering do I need to include anything in the letter? I've had the letter written since March haha, but I keep hearing that if you want a reply, you have to include a ICR or something like that? I have no idea. I don't send fan letters at all, but I really wanted to try. So, if you have sent or know what to do,  I would be forever grateful :D Thank you.

I know someone who works at a cinema and the staff there are meant to think up clever ideas of how to promote New Moon.  Knowing that I am a Twilight fan, she asked me for some help. Problem is, I'm not all that creative in regards to advertising. Could you guys do me a huge favour and suggest some ideas for this? Thanks!

I have a very random question to ask. I am hoping someone is able to tell me a USA paper that has the New Moon poster in it. I want to get a copy tomorrow (where I am we have to wait a day to get todays) and I can't exactly stand there at a stall going through each paper, so is anyone able to tell me what paper has the poster in it please?

Thank you!

I know some people have been wondering about the process for New Moon and if/when MTV will debut it's behind-the-scenes bits, etc. Well, not to let anyone down, more like give you a heads up... I asked Larry Carroll specifically if they'd be doing a New Moon Mondays bit over Twitter and my response was:

LarryCarroll@jmccart3 Soon, we hope. Summit just needs to give us a set visit, basically.

So MTV hasn't even been on set yet... what do you all think of this? Think Chris Weitz is keeping things much more under wraps this time around?

Hello all!

My high school has this tradition for seniors to take a passion of theirs and turn it into a month-long educational project, which is then evaluated by the Senior Project Committee (innovative title, ain't it?) in order to graduate from high school.  Imagine my great surprise when I submitted my proposal to have fanfiction be my project for the month - and have the proposal passed!

In essence, I am required to write and study fanfiction in order to graduate from high school.

I know.  How many people can actually boast that?  But now I need your help!

My project is due at the beginning of June, and I've been doing research on what a fan is and, of course, what a fan does.  However, I would also like to include, in my guidebook to fanfiction and fandom, why we all dive into fandom.  Because we're different from those who just appreciate the series and put it back on their bookshelf after they finish.  We dive into these communities, stories, discussions and conventions, and we get excited about it.  The experience of the books lasts longer for us than the time it takes to read them.

So what is it that pulls us in?  Or, maybe, what does 'fan'-ing give back to us? Why are you a fan?  What pulls you into fandom/fanfiction?  And why is it important to you?  Each person has their own reason, of course, and I would love to get some feedback on these questions.  Feel free to answer any combination of tthem.  If I would like to quote your answer, I'll contact you first and tell you before I place any of your words in my guidebook.

I will post my guidebook on the internets at the end of the month when it has finished, and will most certainly post the link to it here.  Thank you in advance to everyone who replies to this!  You have no idea how much this will help me!

PS: Mods, I don't know if this is tagged correctly.  Please tell me if it's wrong!

hi guys. first post here =]

my friend and i are working on a twilight version of the board game monopoly, but we're having some trouble coming up with ideas for the community chest and chance cards (which we're calling lion and lamb cards). the lion cards are various trivia questions while the lamb cards say things like: "edward composes a song for you. advance to the meadow." (the meadow is free parking.)

if you guys have any ideas for the cards, we would greatly appreciate it. we have about 130 cards to fill up, so the more suggestions, the happier we'll be. since we have so many cards to use, we changed the utilities (water works and electric) and the taxes (luxury tax and income tax) into lion and lamb spaces on the board. there are five lamb spaces and five lion spaces all together.

here's a picture of the board, if you'd like to see it:

the spaces aren't labeled with words on the board, so here's what the images represent: phoenix (go), thriftway (mediterranean ave.), newton outfitters (baltic ave.), charlie's police cruiser (reading railroad), forks library (oriental ave.), forks high school (vermont ave.), forks hospital (connecticut ave.), charlie's house (st. charles place), angela's house (states ave.), jacob's house (virginia ave.), bella's truck (pennsylvania railroad), jacob's garage (st. james place), first beach (tennessee ave.), the cliffs (new york ave.), the meadow (free parking), the dress shop (kentucky ave.), the movie theater (indiana ave.), the junkyard (illinois ave.), edward's volvo (b&o railroad), the lodge (atlantic ave.), the bookstore (ventnor ave.), la bella italia (marvin gardens), volterra (go to jail), the ballet studio (pacific ave.), the baseball field (north carolina ave.), the cottage (pennsylvania ave.), carlisle's mercedes (short line railroad), the cullen mansion (park place), isle esme (boardwalk).

just to be clear, we're not selling this game or making any sort of profit. in fact, we're LOSING money.

(mods, i wasn't sure how to tag this post, so let me know if i should change it.)

Hey! i don't know if this is allowed, so i'm just going to throw it out there anyways!

A friend and i would like to start a bookclub community, for New Moon/Eclipse etc
for other books too while we're waiting to read the twilight saga (before the release of the movies)

we're just curious how many people would join, because it would be a huge waste if not a lot of people want to be involved..

so just let me know if you'd be interested!!

thanks!

Tonight, well 6:30 (central time) I was watching ET and they had a lot of Twilight stuff. Not sure if it's a rerun.. but I feel like no one else online has seen it because no sites have posted youtube to it yet... if there is youtube video for it. It had interviews, how to dress like the characters, asking about the break up scene with a really sad reaction from Kristen where she is like, hurt thinking abuot it, etc etc.

Anyone else know what I'm talking about?

I THINK THIS MAY BE IT..?

I didn't see this posted yet so... If you have watched the seven part documentary (not film section) on the DVD did you notice that at the very end it says:

If you actually watched all the credits you should be treated for OCD...Obsessive Cullen Disorder

Just wondering if anybody else caught that or if it was just me.

I laughed because I probably do.

Mods, I apologize since this isn't directly Edward/Bella related. I have however seen a lot of posts about the DVD and I figured maybe this would be accepted here. If it isn't, please delete it. I don't want to start any trouble.

I basically wanted to ask all of you if and where you are going to get your Twilight DVDs at midnight. What stores are holding parties, and in what cities? I live in Orlando and I have no idea where to go. I'm hoping through this thread that we can all maybe network with each other and help each other find the best parties to go to.

Again, if this isn't allowed, please delete it. I just thought it would be a good way for us Twilight fans to help each other out with some information!

Thanks!

i was looking around at the site that sells foreign magazines here in Sweden, and I came across a Jonas Brothers magazine, but it said that it would have a Twilight Section. Does anyone know where you can find scans of it? Help is really appreciated!

She reportedly auditioned for a role in the forthcoming Twilight sequel, New Moon, but Vanessa Hudgens is unlikely to get the part – for now.

"I'm not sure about [final] casting but I had heard Vanessa Hudgens was going up for the part of Leah [Clearwater, a werewolf]," screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg, who wrote both films, explained to PEOPLE at the 61st Annual Directors Guild of America Awards in Los Angeles Saturday night. "But at the moment, the part of Leah doesn't happen until the third movie."

See? It's nothing personal. Plus, reps have denied Hudgens was in consideration for the role.

Rosenberg also offered a few other insider tidbits about the progress of New Moon. "Well, you know Taylor Lautner will be back as Jacob Black. I can tell you the original cast will all be coming back. They're on set right now, in Vancouver! They're all up there prepping the movie to start shooting very soon."

As for other changes in the next installment, Rosenberg said she expected new director Chris Weitz – who replaced the first film's director, Catherine Hardwicke – to put his expertise and imprint on the second film.

"Chris Weitz directed The Golden Compass, which was a beautiful-looking film," Rosenberg said. "And I think it's wonderful we have someone who has worked with CGI animals ... that will be a big part of New Moon. I'm delighted we have someone who's so expert at that."

I was wondering if anyone knows where they're shooting in Vancouver? Because I live in Vancouver and I would gladly take photos :D

(mods i'll love it if you would let this through)

So the other day my mum bought me this plain silver bangle from the jewelers as part as one of my christmas presents.
i asked if i could get something engraved on it, then a light bulb turned on inside my head and i thought maybe a twilight quote :)
but i have been thinking for days and days and i just can't think of the perfect one.
So that's were you twilighters come in (: 'what twilight quote should i get engraved on it?'
i want a deep and meaningful one, possibly one i can look back on and use for help later on life or something.

THANKS FOR ANYONE WHO COMMENTS :)
and have a merry christmas and a great new year twilighters xoxo (:(:

------------------EDIT:
i'm eaither going to go with one of these three:

"Twilight again. Another ending. No matter how perfect the day is, it always has to end."
-Edward

"Trust me just this once — you are the opposite of ordinary."
-Edward
