I feel like grumbling today so I'm going to just say it: wire services are the bane of my existence. They're always Indian or something, not that I have anything against Indians but if you're going to work for a national service, the majority of shopkeepers should be able to understand you. Plus, and even worse, they are incredibly cheap. They think flowers don't cost a thing! How am I supposed to make any money on an arrangement for $35, including delivery? Really? *sigh*

Today I had my first class as a teacher:)) Ok,now you probably have no idea what I'm talking about... The thing is that my neighbour asked me if I would like to give her english lessons because she wanted to learn how to speak,write and read english because she never had that class at school(weird I know). And I of course said yes and today was our first class and my first class ever as a teacher :)) It was great. Now,of course it wasn't like a real class because I can't act like a real teacher with her but it was really good and I'm proud of myself. Not to mention that I'm even getting paid for that LOL.

Next thing I wanted to say is that I'm totally crazy about that show I mentioned earlier - Harper's island! I even made my brother watch it with me LOL. Anyway,it's awesome show and too bad there's only one season... And talking about making people watch things I watch - one of my best friend is sooo going to watch Mental! Yes I did it! She watched PB so she knows what she was missing and since she's also crazy about the accents(join the club LOL) she will watch it with pleasure,I know :)) I'm so proud of myself LMAO

It's been an entire two years since I got this damn bar put into me, bolted to either side of my ribcage.
Two years.
It really doesn't seem like it. In a weird way, it seems like longer -- I've gotten so used to it, I can barely remember what it was like without it; and then not -- mostly because time is going by so fast lately, I got it put in before Freshman year and now already I'm heading back into high school as a Junior.
Two more years are going to fly by just like the past two, and then I'm off to college.
That's why it's so hard to believe today.
It's scary.
I don't like it.
Thinking about this makes me feel like I'm going to lose everyone after I graduate.

Last week we attended the press conference for The Ugly Truth with Gerard Butler and Katherine Heigl — needless to say there was a lot of talk about sex, how to get it, how to act once you get it, and what happens when you’re not getting it. It’s safe to say that Butler and Keigl are two very different types of actors, who are both associated with a very different type of genre. Yet thank god for Butler, whose dramatic-action background brought something refreshing to their otherwise re-hased movie and their possibly dull press conference.

I haven't been posting word count updates because I've been stuck in such a fiddly place for weeks and I finally seem to have broken through that wall. I was rather surprised that I am three thousand words past the last time I posted a word count. Progress in later novel drafts is a very squiggly thing.

My motto for this draft is fast becoming, "Stick to the point."

I'm a little proud I broke through. It's been a slog to get this far. I don't expect the rest of the novel to be any easier, but I didn't sign up for this because I thought it would be easy. I'm like a little goat going up a mountainside slowly, slowly, slowly.

The back is getting better. It's surely not perfect yet, but it's better. I went for a walk with a coworker this afternoon and, painful as it was, it was that good painful that you feel when someone is massaging a knot out of your shoulder. I am, however, spending the evening in bed with the heading pad. :)

In related news, I signed up for two belly dance classes. One starts next week and it's on Tuesdays. The other doesn't start until September and it's on Thursdays. I figure that gives me plenty of time to get my stamina and skills up before I start dancing twice a week.

The last time I took two different belly dance classes a week was the last time I ever came closing to significant weight loss and muscle tone. I am hoping that I get the same result this time.

I miss belly dancing. I was never what you'd call good, but I do love it. It's fun.

Anywho, that's all the excitement I've got going on right now. How are all of you doing?

My day so far has been real good, let's just hope the rest stays up to par. =]
Legit spent my entire weekend at home, which was nice. Last night the prostibots came over and we played tons of rockband and got in the hottub! Linda had to go home but cass and general spent the night. So when I got up for drive thismorning they were still sleeping and I was so jealous. Once I got home they were still asleep, so I did up my face a little bit, since i didn't do anything to it before hand. Played a little bit of rockband, and then they finally got up. We discussed our plans for tonight and then I headed off to lecture. After that I came home. Justin and I then drove to applebees and had lunch. Now i'm home just waiting for everyone to come over to play rockband, eat some food, then go to the drivein!
