ahaha, I love how they quoted 'cedric' by the moaning myrtles when lauren (1/2 of said band) posted this on myspace just earlier today:
"Upon reading (and hating) Stephenie Meyer's Breaking Dawn, I have decided that I no longer consider myself a Twilight fan and I would really like to take "Cedric" down from our page in order to replace it with our awesome collaboration with The Mudbloods off of our CD, What About Myrtle?'"


I LOVELOVELOVE wrock; the moaning myrtles are one of my three favourite bands, and others like gred and forge are definitely on my top 10 list.
however…I don't like twilight music. maybe there isn't enough of it, enough variety to appeal to me; whatever it is, I don't like it.
harry potter > twilight, again.

I didn't hate breaking dawn…but I didn't love it either. I need to read it again to decide, and I can't do that until at least a month later.

oh, you should do so asap; it's amazing. definitely worth the $9.99.
my first impression was that they included a lot about cho chang, but then I realized it was only two songs, and one of those - 'aesthetically pleasing' - became a favourite.

I'm a member of the HP fandom. I love it hardcore. But I love my Twilight, as well. I also love Twilight fans.

I agree with you. I'm a Harry Potter fan myself and don't see why MTV needs to pick apart fandoms. You can like Harry Potter and still enjoy Twilight. They are two totally different books.

And I hate how they compared Twilight to Hannah. Twilight can appeal to all age groups just as Harry Potter does. I'm not a teen, just 23 years old and I still enjoy it.

But then again I'm a future teacher and enjoy reading books no matter what the age group they are categorized under. Good books are good books, just as good movies are good movies.

Enjoy them both and be marry!

If someone can link me to an actual WROCK band that has actual talent and can sing (not horribly like Harry and the Potters) then I'll be impressed.

Yeah like the only ones I've ever heard were Harry and the Potters and like one song of Draco and the Malfoys. But like sure the songs are funny but their voices suck, they can't play music what-so-ever. I just fail to see the appeal. Although, I can't imagine Twilight music is any better.
