muse in the twilight film.
I stumbled across this article where it mentions the following about the movie soundtrack:

Meyer was also ecstatic that the film’s soundtrack will include “Super Massive Black Hole” by her favorite band, Muse (”It wouldn’t feel like this movie was based on something I did without Muse in it,” she laughs) and says she’s being consulted on the rest of the soundtrack, as well.

Thoughts? Speculation for the scene? Any other music you'd like to see featured?

all their songs are pretty sexy. this used to be one of my favorites.

Catherine mentioned they might do a "cool little remix" to it for the film, but I have no idea where it could be played. maybe while Bella's hanging with her Forks High friends, maybe the baseball scene.

maybe if they show any dancing at prom it'll be to that song?

......ehhh I say it'll be featured while Bella is with Mike, Jessica, and the gang.

btw Muse is totally on my list for "Bands Everyone Should See Before They Die." I saw them when they opened for My Chemical Romance in April 2007.

I complained about having to sit thru them for like an hour, I thought their songs were so annoying, but I had a front row seat and they sounded in-freaking-credible. The way they sound on that music video is exactly how they sound live.

I dont think I blinked while they played.

Ummm, so weird...but I'm glad they picked this instead of "Our Time is Running Out" because that would have been too....obvious, lol. I think this song would be cool for the scene(s) of post-Tyler's van crash. When Edward is avoiding Bella/Bella's pissed at him. Whenever I listen to this song, I always imagined it fitting somewhere with that.

And I kinda still hope there's a Stars song for the prom scene!
