More developments on SCO vs IBM...
SCO Terminates IBM's AIX License
SCO Group (Quote, Company Info) Monday followed through on its challenge to IBM (Quote, Company Info), announcing that it has terminated Big Blue's right to use or distribute any product based on Unix System V source code, including the AIX operating system, due to an alleged contract violation.
It doesn't seem like they have any stronger a case or anything has changed - just that the deadline they set themselves for IBM to settle has now passed, and they're determined to go through with it.

In response, IBM is giving them the finger. Big Blue claims that their license is perpetual and cannot be cancelled, and they apparently intend to go ahead selling AIX.

SCO is going out of biz and they have nothing left to do but sue people after IBM wins this(yes they will win IBM has more money) they'll go out of biz.

Just idea fort a thought: Wouldn't it be better if they joined together and cooperated on unixes instead of behaving like M$? I believe everybody there has something to make UXes better...
