    Time Event
    11:37p
    DVD Ripping.
I've been doing various magic with DVDs for years and I've switched apps 100s of times on various OSes. My current favorite tools are dvdbackup (to get VIDEO_TS), k9copy (for shrinking), HandbrakeGTK (for encoding to Xvid and mp4 for my iPod) and K3B (for all my burning needs). 3 out of those 4 are GUI and some of the features are a little redundant (I think k9copy and k3b are pretty similar except for a few key features).

I would love some sort of GUI front end for dvdbackup. Anyone know of anything that does this? Or, is there a way to get K9copy or KB3 to spit out a VIDEO_TS folder (can't use the ISO for HandbrakeGTK)?

It's nice that I don't have to boot into Windows anymore to do this stuff. :)

*ALSO* I'd love to hear what apps you are using for your day to day video needs.
