In the process of trying to figure out what language MILEGO STARTU I MIEKIEGO LADOWANIA is for someone, I stumbled upon the Xerox Language Guesser. It says it's Polish, but someone who's fluent in Polish says it's not, so I'm at a loss. The Xerox thing is pretty cool, anyways. It guessed Esperanto, Latin, and French right. But does anyone know what MILEGO STARTU I MIEKIEGO LADOWANIA means?

I'm guessing it is Polish--putting the various words of the quote into Google invariably is coming up with Polish sites...

it is polish only without diacritics. with them it would look like this: miłego startu i miękiego lądowania. it menas something like "a pleasant take-off and a gentle touchdown".

I loved that language guessed.

I put in the following rubbish which is sort of italian like, and it guessed italian.
Italia funicimo blasimmio unisessima boradecila

I put in the following rubbish which I thought was sort of latin like, and it guessed Latin
Fatino unomino santuminissimo belium fortisis

I put in the following rubbish which I thought was sort of spanish like, and it guessed Portuguese
Suesta amogo silio vastio muchiasas

Then I tried the following rubbish which I thought was sort of German like, and it guessed .... Latin
Hagendagendas Untin Vobottenun Dem Sagandaganunt

Haha, great fun.

I guess I can sorta see the Latin from the German, since -as, -em, and -unt are all Latin endings.

It will guess Chinese if you have Chinese characters. Not romanized Chinese. The same with Japanese. It won't recognize Romaji.

I plugged in "Tingnan mo ang langit na bughaw" and it said it was Irish. haha I tried other sentences and the closest it could get was Indonesian. (The language is Filipino, by the way)

"Ph-nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgahnagl fhtagn"
From Lovecraft's "Call of Cthulhu."
It guessed Irish. XDD
