Welcome to [info]lin_lanfan. I suppose that we'd better set down a few rules.

1) Be respectful to other members. This is an absolute must. Any participants of malicious wank will be suspended.
2) Please stay on-topic. Feel free to crosspost to other communities (in fact, we encourage you to do so), but keep in mind that we are a community for the relationship between Lin Yao and Lanfan; do not spam the community with unrelated content.

Fanfic/fanart, graphics (icons, layouts, colorbars, etc.), essays, theories and speculations - anything concerning the two is accepted as "on-topic".

3) Put large images/fics behind an LJ-cut.

Um. Regarding #3, if someone belongs to this community, it means they've already read beyond what's been releasted in English. Everything would have to be under a cut.

What about genfics in which one focus on just one of them? I have a couple of Lan Fan-centric fics in which she mentions Ling, or Ling-centric fics in which he mentions Lan; not necessarily in a romantic way sometimes. I wonder if plugging that kind of fanwork is OT. My completed fics are sort of vague on the subtext part.

Or posting icons in which only one of them appears.

Really, we're not strict, especially as we're just starting out - your fics sound perfectly acceptable so long as they have something to do with the relationship between the two (and this certainly doesn't have to be taken in a romantic way).

I'm a little iffy on the icons; if you're referring to icons with solely Lin or Lanfan, that's not really on-topic, but it'd be fine to throw them in if you have a couple in the batch featuring the two together (your current icon is a great example), or if the singular icons could be interpreted as a reference to the opposing character.

I'd totally love to join! XD Only, I'm kinda worried because I'm used to japanese and korean communities, which is quite different from English ones. I mean, I can find my way through but I'm not very familiar with postings and fake cuts, etc etc around here. In fact I'm posting my very first comment now^^;
Well, whatever, I'll try my best.
So, um, will anybody volunteer to help me out when i have questions or problems? ....please? ;
