To my very small group of followers, thanks for friending [info]lilclassics. I know I haven't been consistent lately, but I'm trying awfully hard to find free time!

For now I can say that I will try and have at least one comic per month. =/

Cheers.

Cartoon #5 - North & South
OK, I'm very, very, very, very sorry that I have not updated since forever, but look here! A new comic! And it's got that ol' hunk'o'spunk Thornton (newly designed - didn't like the old one).

I am so sad that there are hardly any active cartoon communities anymore. Pray tell me if there are!

Margaret! Margaret! )

Cartoon #4 - North & South

hiatus

I'm too caught up in the Harry Potter euphoria [see cartoon below]. I don't think I'll be back until August. Thanks for the comments and support, everyone. I really do appreciate it! See you soon.

Margaret wishes she had never met Fanny Thornton... )

This was actually my first comic, but I polished it a bit. Also, ideas (the more far fetched and improbable the better) are totally welcome.

Margaret discovers something better left unsaid )

I'm still developing a drawing style, so I may swap and change between vectors and softer illustration... you don't mind, do you? ^^

Introductory Post
Welcome to [info]lilclassics, a serialisation of various cartoons based on British literature and/or their dramatisations. Since all the authors of said Brit lit are dead and their works older than a century, I believe I am at liberty to do basically whatever I bloody well want with these beloved literary characters. Bon appetit!

Post-modern theory:
Everything that can be done has been done

Therefore, I thank you [info]iharthdarth, [info]lilhouse, [info]lilblackbooks, [info]icherisherik and [info]hp_heads for the divine inspiration. <3
