I made a Picspam/Tribute to Rose and Martha because they're probably my two favourite companions and because fandom seems to have this strange idea that there is supposed to be this huge rivalry between them.

Does anyone have any HQ copies of the promotional pictures that Freema did
for Torchwood?

So because I adore Martha's character so much I decided to take myself down to Trafalgar Square on Saturday to see Freema introduce the public showing of Doctor Who there. Was anyone else there? I took a few photos which are here but please be warned this post is packed with spoilers for Journey's End! Also be advised that as a result of standing quite close to the lady herself for the duration of the showing and being swept away by the general fannish atmosphere I am incapable of having any actual serious reaction to the finale or, in fact, knowing what happened at all.

Over at Blogtor Who, there's some new (Hi-res) promo pictures up for episode 13 Journey's End of series 4 of Doctor Who.

Including a couple of nice ones of Martha we haven't seen yet. (Feel free to speculate just where she is, and what she's doing!)

Most are fairly generic, but the Radio Times does mention Freema during filming.
