Here's a great little comic by Joey Weiser, creator of the online comic series, The Ride Home



Joey writes:

"Pretty simple idea, but it was just fun to try to recreate the Mario world as accurately as possible,
within my style. The Mario games are always my favorites, but sometimes I feel like they bring out
this sadistic and violent side of me that I wasn't aware of!!"

Great point of view. It reminds me of when we had a cop come into our 3rd grade class and asked us if Jack was really a hero, or was he a felon who pillaged the Giant's house. That one made a deep impact on my young mind...

Ha ha! "Hey! A Pipe!" Like he never sees them ever!

I've noticed between this one, this one, and this one, Lifemeter has a whole series of comics going with the theme of Mario being a jerk to Goombas. Awesome.

ONE: the humer on the "hey a pipe" that is true....never stop seein them things lol TWO:it does seem marios sometimes a jerk(even though im a HUGE mario fan) i mean c'mon goombas just walkin around do do dee dum bu-SPLAT!! HAhahahahahahaha

I really think this comic shows jut how truly...odd...the mario series can be. Nevertheless, I LOVE IT. Great job.
