Author's Notes: This was written for severinne   for the swapsies we have been working on called Operation Della. Long story short, we realized we are eerily alike at least when it comes to how we like to see Sam and Gene and this is the end result of that.  I hope she, and everyone else enjoys it, I know I had fun writing it!  Also, title nicked from the Depeche Mode song of the same name.  If you don't know it, give it a listen, I think I listened to it 527 times while writing this : )  The part of my soul not owned by Gene/Sam and the BBC is owned by Depeche Mode.  **lyrics also from In Your Room**

Sam is from the future and his own story is a bit creepy, and I thought maybe that element of his life might not just disappear. It was going to be a big “AH HA!” surprise/reveal fic, but that did not work the way I wanted it too, so I went with anxious/spooky instead. My own failing, but I hope you enjoy it anyway…
