Bisexual part 8 Pairings: Gene/Sam, Ray/Sam, Chris/Sam, Sam/Annie Rating: Brown Cortina over all Warnings: PWP, slash, het, and multi-partnered sex Additional warnings: Some sap may occur in some chapters, as well as music and slight craziness. Notes: Sam is an actual bisexual in the physical sense as well as emotional, which means he's a type of hermaphrodite (intersex). And in case anyone wishes to know, I do consider myself bisexual.Words: 1,888 Summary: After accidentally admitting to being a bisexual to the majority of the team, Sam finds himself the target of lustful fulfillment. Disclaimer: I do not own the characters from Life on Mars. All parts found here.~**~ ( The pub wasn't noisy )

I'm rewatching series 1 and I'm episode 4 (the one with Warren and Joni). I remember there were a few fics that had Sam having a hard time dealing with being raped. Nothing overwrought; the particular fic I remember with was fairly short. It may have been called "No" or something along those lines. I've lost all my old links, so can anyone help me out?
Thanks. | | |

Title: Clothes Maketh the Man Author: nepthys_uk Characters: Sam/Gene Rating: Brown Cortina/NC-17 Word Count: approx.3,200. Disclaimer: Belongs to Kudos and the BBC. This is just for fun, not for profit. Notes: A spot of PWP - sadly too late for Porntober. Pervember, perhaps? Cross-dressing smut, basically. Thanks go to my partner in pink-fizz-swilling, fawsley, for all the perving encouragement and cheerleading :D Clothes Maketh the Man

I hadn't planned on posting this yet, because I'm still struggling with the ending (Yes, I really got into this fic XD), but rest assured I will have it all written. Just thought some of you on here would appreciate the early post. (Plus, my college will be closed on Thrusday and Friday, so won't have internet access for four days) Tygress – part one Author: lunadeath02 Pairing: Gene/Sam, Sam/Annie (Yes, I had to go there; I'm sorry ^.^) Rating: R Warnings: language, slash, and some naughty animal mating (het and slash), will have angst in later chapters. Notes: sequel to Tyger. There will be either eight or ten parts to this, I'm still working on getting the ending right. This story spoke to me in this way (with Sam finding Annie), but so you know it is still mainly a Gene/Sam fic. Also, named the fic "Tygress" mostly due to the introduction of Annie. (But Sam could be considered one too, yes? lol) Summary: Sam "Tyger" the police cat is finally confronted with his animal instincts when he meets a beautiful Norwegian Forest named Annabelle. Words: 1,778 Disclaimer: I do not own these characters. Tyger~**~ ( Being a police cat was great. )

I started to rewatch Life on Mars for about the fifth time today, and got to the scene between Sam and Neil, the 'hypnotherapist', at the end of episode one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VW6HmD8WL9Y And my god, I'd forgotten just how great it was. That beautiful use of lighting to throw Sam into shadow; that achingly sad, otherwordly music. Simm's acting, desperate and bewildered and just this side of mad. And then the rooftop scene. I remember the first time I watched it, my heart was in my mouth. Now I just like to close my eyes, and listen to that wonderful score, and that perfectly tuned dialogue. "Stay." I've seen it so many times I know every line by heart, and it *still* gives me chills. Over the two seasons, there were many scenes to equal this one, but I don't think any one ever surpassed it, for me. This is quality television. [/incoherent gushing]

Title: I Shall Call Him Squishy Rating: white cortina/PG Characters: Sam, Gene Word Count: 979 Summary: Finding Nemo is not porn! Disclaimer: Life on Mars ad Finding Nemo are not mine A/N: As the title should tell you, this is something completely nonsensical. I've had a bit of an obsession going with Finding Nemo lately and then I rewatched Life on Mars and bad things happened as a result. I didn't quite know what to do with it and it felt like a shame to delete it so I figured I'd inflict it on the rest of you.( I Shall Call Him Squishy )

Title: Sensory Perception Word Count: 4X100 word drabble Summary: Four drabbles, four points of view. One picky pain in the arse. Warnings: Suggestions of insanity/character death (no prizes for guessing which character). Also angst, slash, and some Sam/Annie. A/N: Once upon a time, this collection came with a 'smell' drabble from Sam's POV. But then, as you've seen, said drabble grew beyond all control and broke away from the rest (see 'Sense Memories'). So here we have one era reflecting on another. Enjoy. ( Ray hated DI Tyler on first sight. )

I've been wanting to do this video for quite some time but after I started it I decided my heart just wasn't into it. Not even close to being my best but I had to finish it whether it turned out good or not. Music: Mika - Any Other World Fandom: Life on Mars Pairings: None though if you squint you might see Sam/Gene. I blame the fics. Warnings: None ( Say goodbye to the world you thought you lived in... )

I hope the source for this week's prompt words isn't too obscure. *cough* Please remember that you don't have to actually *use* the word in your drabble:
Bashful Doc Dopey Grumpy Happy Sneezy Sleepy
PLEASE try to remember to make each drabble a comment in response to the original post. That way, if the comments start to collapse, the drabbles themselves should remain visible. Thanks.
The rules, such as they are: 1) A drabble is, by definition a 100 word story. As this is a drabble challenge and not a “snippet” challenge, all responses should be 100 words exactly, no exceptions.
2) I have been asked to keep this to a single posting a week to avoid cluttering people’s flists. So, drabbles will be posted as individual comments under the posting. IF you would like to post your drabble on your own LJ and link to it that’s all right too. Just put that link in a comment under the posting.
RATING: Rather than worrying about individual headings I’m just going to say that any drabbles posted for these challenges might be a Brown or even Red Cortina for content/language, so let the reader beware! .

Title: Sense Memories Word Count: 755 Pairings: Sam/OC, Sam/Maya, implied Sam/Annie. Warnings: Tiny bit of blood, rather more angst, implied (canon) character death. Summary: 'Hit a tripwire of smell and memories explode all at once.' Sam Tyler, and a life in flavours. A/N: Okay, so I started out trying to write a LOM drabble for each of the five senses. But then I got a tiny bit obsessed with smell, and...well. Feedback is love.

Possible Christmas present for you all here (which I imagine a few people have already seen/bought): a 2010 calendar featuring the Guv.
I've seen it on the Amazon UK website along with a few other sites like the Danilo (the makers) one. It seems to be a mix of LoM and A2A Gene but I know I fancy having the Guv looking down at me over the next year *g*.

Title: Tyger – part 4/4 +epilogue Author: lunadeath02 Pairing: Gene!dog/Sam!cat Rating: R Warnings: language and some naughty Gene (Dog)/Sam (Cat) affection (in prologue), also have slight spoilers for the beginning of A2A (I haven’t seen it, but only heard of what happened to Sam, so if you know what happened to him then don’t worry about being spoiled too much… on account I haven’t even seen Ashes to Ashes). Notes: This is it for this story, but I have been writing a sequel to it. There’s an aspect of a cat’s life that I felt needed to be addressed, so I felt I must continue with the little adventure of Sam as a cat. XD Words: 1,791 Disclaimer: I do not own these characters. Part 3.~**~ ( Sam ran so hard... )

Tyger – part 3/4 Author: lunadeath02 Pairing: Gene!dog/Sam!cat Rating: PG-13 Warnings: Some bad language and a smidgen of Gene(Dog)/Sam(Cat) affection Notes: ‘…’ indicates animals talking (not human speech though) “…” indicates humans talking Words: 1,186 Disclaimer: I do not own these characters. I have been reading a lot of articles and info about the Doctor Who episodes to be screened at Christmas and as I did I came across this article from the Daily Mail:
Master of the Loonie-verse: Craziest Dr Who villain ever says his final showdown with David Tennant will scare us all witless.
In it he mentions LoM, saying that:
- No less amazing for Simm was being whisked away for Life On Mars through a time warp to Seventies Manchester, a place close to where he was born and raised.
But perhaps the best thing about Life On Mars for Simm was the chemistry he shared with Philip Glenister, who played the fabulously un-PC DCI Gene Hunt opposite Simm's 21st-century cop.
'We more or less lived together for the two years of Life On Mars; it was like we were married! We never got tired of each other, we just moaned together like grumpy old men. I adore him. I'm very proud to have been part of a cop double act that had that chemistry because it's such a rare thing.
'It really worked, all that jumping over bonnets, chasing people in cars. It was such a laugh.'
Although Simm, at first, threw the script of Life On Mars in the bin, deeming it too weird, he came to realise it was 'a hell of a great part'. So leaving wasn't easy.
'I thought: "If they stop it now, it will be a classic. Like The Prisoner." My story had come to a natural end. Plus, Gene Hunt was such a huge character. There are only so many times you can roll your eyes and tell him off.'
If there is any remorse, it's to do with the American remake starring Harvey Keitel as Gene Hunt and Jason O'Mara as Sam Tyler. 'I'm not even curious,' says Simm wryly. 'I am Sam Tyler and that's it!' Simm laughs, but insists the same applies to the U.S. remake of the TV political thriller State Of Play, in which he starred on TV with David Morrissey.

Title: Gone Far Away Into the Silent Land Rating: Green Cortina Word Count: 2100 words. Notes: Written for Ficathon 2009, for fawsley with the prompt: Sam/Gene, Gene's past catches up with him, wax crayons. This became more Sam & Gene friendship than slash. Title from the poem 'Remember' by Christina Rossetti. Warning: This story revolves around themes of death. Summary: He missed Stu, when he was learning to be a soldier, and later when he kept the peace in a country that didn't really want him. He'd write, but it wasn't an adequate replacement for the time they'd spend together.( Gone Far Away Into the Silent Land )

Because my brain is stuck on 100 words at the moment. Enjoy. Title: Fighting Spirit Pairing: Gen Rating: Green Cortina for angst Word Count: 100 Fighting Spirit “What have you got against us, Tyler?” Some days, if he was honest with himself, Sam didn’t know. Some days he looked at them all and saw ordinary people; people with ingrained habits and imperfect lives and a basic, human determination to keep going. But then he would close his eyes, stop the struggle, just for one moment, and in his head the monitors would falter. So he raged out at the wrongness of this world, hit and yelled and railed against it, every day. He fought to get back home, and tried not to imagine what might be waiting.

I gave up on 'Ashes to Ashes' after episode 1, because it struck me as a lightweight LoM rip-off. But I'm curious to know; they explained Sam's absence from the team straight away, but what about Annie? Is it ever stated what happened to her after the LoM finale? If they bumped her off as well, then I really will be Seriously Annoyed. EDIT: And I know that this is, technically, an A2A query, but since it concerns a LoM character who doesn't appear to feature in the sequel at all, it made more sense to ask it here.
