Unfortunately this is not a Sunday like any other…
…'cause Nicole and I, we made a decision regarding this community which wasn't easy at all for us.

The facts of life require some changes every now and then – in the course of that and after careful consideration we decided to close this community heavy-hearted.

Be sure, we didn't take the easy way out!
But our time is awfully rare these days and "real life" unfortunately isn't as foreseeable as we'd wish it'd be.


We sadly couldn't find an alternative for this kind of radical step.

Of course, we've thought about some technically possible options…
…but finally everything, that really came into question for us, was an "either – or".
We don't want to make this half-hearted – that wouldn't be fair. And since we feel exceedingly grateful to all our gorgeous members, we don't want to let this community just slip away. We invested so much time in all this and put our hearts in it – as long as this community exist we surely would keep our eyes glued to it. And that's obviously not the idea!
So, changing hands was and is NOT an option for us.


Since recently Nicole and I share the community open_distance in which we (are going to) post all our creative stuff – from icons and such through to layout codes, textures and much more… So, if you wanna keep track of us in some way in the future, feel free to friend us over there!
So, you won’t loose the two of us automatically. ;-)


We dearly thank you guys for your breathtaking creativity, your smashing dedication and surgency, your lovely support, your patience, your joy and the confidence you put in us.

It has been a wonderful time which we'll keep in our memory for a long long time.

Furthermore our sincere thanks are given to all our affiliates and all those who supported us in our umpteen "publicity-campaigns".


We will miss you all deeply – especially those who rank among the "faithful tribe" of participants – and will always look back on this time with a big smile.

Due to the upcoming LJ strike on Friday, March 21st we decided to post the voting for our current Challenge #13 not before Sunday afternoon!

For those of you haven’t heard about the strike yet, here’s some information:

Want to protest against LJ censoring the interest pages and removing the Basic account level? Join the strike and repost this to your own journal!

Everything's explained at beckyzoole's LJ, but basically: on Friday, March 21st, we will not be posting or commenting for 24 hours. I know that's hard for us LJ dwellers, but we must in order to bring back our beloved LJ.

Because of this shifting in our time schedule we decided to use this extra time and give you a new deadline for entering.
So, those of you who haven’t already participated can still use those upcoming 24 hours free from LJ ;-) to create their contribution.

You’ll have time until Saturday, 3:00 PM, CET.
