What is it:
This community is similar to fanfic100 but with a few differences. You choose the character(s) you wish to write, and every month, there are six fic prompts posted at the beginning of the month. You then choose which prompts you want to answer from the six. The minimum required to remain active in this community is one post per month. You may answer all six if you wish, or two or three, but you must answer at least one. Each month, the prompt table will be changed on the first, to show the six prompts for that month. The monthly prompt table will be posted in the userinfo and in the community journal. Those entries will be tagged 'monthly prompt,' so that you may click on the relevant tag link in the tag list to see the prompt tables.

Rules:
1. This is a fiction writing community. No rp is allowed in posts in the main community itself. RP in your own journals is absolutely fine, go right ahead, knock yourself out. Just play nice, kids. We're all adults here, let's be respectful, okay?
2. This is an invitation only community. If you would like to join, please send a list of your writing along with the character you wish to write, and we'll take it on consideration. We're not unreasonable, chances are we'll accept you.
3. NO ORIGINAL CHARACTERS! There are legions of OC writing communities on LJ. This is purely for fanfiction, not OC's.
4. We are not your mothers. If you break one of the rules, that's your fault. Don't scream about how you have been so terribly wronged when you yourself fucked up.
5. No flaming. Flame once, banned for good.
6. Fics must be a minimum of 150 words. Place all fics of 250 words or greater behind an LJ cut.
7. You can post your fics wherever you want, but please post at least the header and a link to your fic in the main community so that people can find your work and leave concrit.
8. Feel free to friend the community to watch and read.
9. No duplicate characters. If a pup is taken, and you really want that pup, you can be waitlisted for them, and in the interim, perhaps choose another to write.
10. A limit of four pups per writer.
11. Please create (if you haven't already) a journal for each of your pups.
12. Please place appropriate warnings on posts with content rated 18+
13. New as of May 2006. The mods have decided that members who stay current with 4 of their pups for at least 2 individual challenges may apply for a 5th pup. So, if you have 4 current pups and would like to apply for another and have been current for at least two months, you can now apply for a 5th pup.
14. Regarding NC17 posting to this community.

How should I apply?
Easy - email the moderator for your fandom (or the owner, starkiller, if you're unsure,) with the following information:

RP:
1. Role playing with your pups is up to you. If you want to, great. If not, great.
2. Please keep role playing off the main community.
3. If role play sparks an idea for one of the fic prompts - use it and good health to you.

OOC discussion, meta, etc, is encouraged and should be posted in the relevant community - a_l_o_t.

Prompts:
Once a month, on a rotational basis, your mods will take it in turns to post six prompts. To remain active, you only need answer one of the six in a calender month. If you want to answer more or all, feel free to do so. Rotational basis works like this: For example, January is topics by Starkiller. Februrary is topics by Penemuel. March is topics by Leviathanmuse. April is back to Starkiller. And so on. Prompt choices are at the mods discretion, but if you've got ideas you'd like to see used, there will be a post where you can drop your ideas into the big mixing pot.
