Author's Notes: Jag chose funny, when I was debating on whether to go serious or silly with this one. Some point around midnight the night before I began writing this I came up with the perfect idea.... If anything in this fic makes no sense to you, that just means you haven't read

He gazed down into the large, adoring eyes that pierced him, with a sense of annoyance and nostalgia. He recalled standing like this nearly a life-time ago, hands tucked in his sleeves, and unmoving. The only differences where the place, the time, and the fact that Obi-Wan had aged six years since his last visit. Obi-Wan's attention didn't waiver, even as the Councillor exclaimed a cordial greeting as he noticed the Jedi, offering only a polite "Indeed" in reply to "Master Jedi, it has been too long!" His tone, to those that knew him well, stated that it had not been long enough. Fortunately, the Councillor didn't pick up on the implied meaning, nor did he take slight to Obi-Wan's distraction. No, the Councillor seemed delighted at this reunion between friends, and was content to wait for the two to finish revelling in the other's presence. It was remarkable how the creature sitting at Obi-Wan's feet hadn't seemed to age a single day, as Solomon's tail twitched happily at being reunited with his Jedi playmate.
