AboutFor all of those times when the gatekeepers of the world's knowledge are called upon, in their professional capacity, to use the word "motherfucker." Or at least to seriously consider it.
*Open to librarians; library associates, specialists, technicians, and paraprofessionals of all kinds; library school students; library aides and volunteers; and all of those who love libraries, or even just love a particular librarian. Welcome.
This is a moderated community, but ask, and you shall gain entry. (You've got to walk up to the reference desk before you can get the answers.)
Usual rules of good conduct apply. Anyone who gets nasty will be shushed once, and then escorted from the building.
Finally, what happens at the SLWSM STAYS at the SLWSM. If you discover a colleague expressing themselves here, kindly don't use it against them, or someone will drop a really large book on your foot.
