Musical program--the aftermath
On the heels of this post, I arrived at work this morning to find that our OCD clean-freak staffer had straightened up the desk area. The large stack of books and the bookmarks relating to the aforementioned musical program were gone!  My first thought was that they had been re-shelved in her zeal to make things tidy. Under ordinary circumstances I would have been happy that someone had taken it upon themselves to put them away but we have two more programs on the next two Saturdays (she knew that) and I really didn't want to hunt for all those books again. Other items of mine had been stashed on a nearby shelf but not those books. A search resulted in me finding them on her shelf in our staff area!!??? Why she didn't put them on my shelf I don't know. And why she had to move them at all when they were none of her business just pisses me off.

Maybe becoming the office manager for my husband's employer isn't such a bad idea.

Later: OCD staffer apologized for freaking me out about the books and said she intended to leave me a note but forgot. She put the books on her shelf because she did not realize I was going to be at all the programs and she was working next Saturday. So I am somewhat appeased but still don't understand why she couldn't leave them where they were.
