Although I can't, beyond a shadow of a doubt, write that this woman is a librarian and not a bookstore employee, she is definitely dealing with a literary MOFO. Thanks to reddit for pointing me to the story!

Ah, those wacky Randians. We have a patron like that. He recently requested magazine articles on, basically, how you can be an objectivist and still have friends. Y'know, why should you be someone's friend if there's nothing in it for you, that sort of thing. *rolls eyes*
