Community Discipline

Discipline will be dolled out at the discretion of the moderation team. You can apply to be a member of the moderation team via livejournal message or by asking to see the community owners junk and posting your opinion.

You may or may not be placed on Time Out for any of the following:

Being a grammar Nazi.

Repeatedly failing to make any sense.

Failing to acknowledge being thoroughly outclassed in a debate.

Attempting to be funny and failing for prolonged periods of time.

Linking to wikipedia

Using a macro deemed to be unfunny (Most macros fit into this category)

Annoying a member of the moderation team that may or may not be menstruating at the time.

Time Outs are New Age and thus designed to encourage good habits and not really to punish bad ones. Time Outs may or may not be temporary and may or may not last a specific amount of time.

This community is open to all but certainly not applicable to all, and there may be communities that better fit what you are looking for in a liberal community.
This community is not a safe space. There are a lot of foul and reprehensible people in the world, and their choice of words may not be to your liking. You are responsible for whether you choose to be offended or not.

If you are a middle aged male that dislikes having conservatives "troll" your community, but you "troll" conservative communities and post your antics in stupid_free, then we can recommend the liberal_talk community.

If you are more interested in Democrat ideology than discussing liberal topics, or if you are unaware that there is a difference, then we can recommend ljdemocrats or liberal_talk
