Hello and welcome to [info]lexslash, the livejournal affiliate of the yahoogroup of the same name. This community is dedicated to Lex Luthor and the actor that portrays him, Michael Rosenbaum, of the television show Smallville. Here, fans may post fanart, icons, fanfiction, music videos, discussions (including anything news-worthy), screen caps, and scans to this community, as long the post applies to the Smallville character or the actor who plays him.

This is a slash community, so you will see posts depicting male/male relationships, such as Lex and Clark Kent or Lex and Oliver Queen, where the two males are paired in a romantic relationship with each other. If this is not your cup of tea, please move on. We do welcome everyone to join, however, this particular community is slash-specific.

Posts that include discussions or media of Lex or Michael Rosenbaum generally or fanfics that feature Lex in a slash pairing (such as Clark/Lex) are allowed. Fanfics that center on Lex in a slash pairing but also contain other pairings (such as Martha/Lionel) are also welcome.

Also, please be sure to join this community in addition to just adding it to your friends list and watching it. By joining, you are able to participate more actively by leaving comments, posting entries, and viewing special members-locked content - definitely not worth missing out on!

Once a month, the community moderaters will issue a challenge in the form of a word, phrase, or situation. New challenges are announced on the 15th of every month. Q: Where can I find slash stories about Lex Luthor on Smallville?

A: The fan fiction that has been posted to this community can be retrieved by using the LJ-tag system and going HERE. We also maintain a separate archive of fan fiction on the LexSlash Website that is searchable by interest. Last, there are a few general Smallville archives, most notably the Smallville Slash Archive.

Q: Does this community allow crossovers?

A: Yes. All fiction is allowed, as long as it contains the Smallville version of Lex Luthor in it and he is slashed with someone.

Q: Does this community allow posts about Michael Rosenbaum (e.g. interviews, upcoming projects)?

A: Absolutely.
