I hope I am no breaking any rules in posting like this (that is, without perhaps fulfilling an unknown prerequisite), but I am a fan of GaaSaku and am writing a story where this is included. I am sharing for the interested.

I was asked an interesting question earlier from a person who ships Gaara & Matsuri. They asked me why people that like GaaSaku hate Matsuri for being a "fangirl" of Gaara's. Because, of course, Sakura was also a "fangirl" of Sasuke's way back in the day. The only logical thing I could think of was that

A.) Fangirls of Gaara don't want to share him and therefore hate Matsuri. (lol)

or B.) My personal opinion is that Sakura's fangirl-ing seemed to occur at a younger age, unlike Matsuri, who is 15 or 16 (I think?), but even then, I don't hate Matsuri. She's obnoxious, but I don't let her character bother me.

Just trying to start a discussion with anyone who want to voice their opinion. :D

Type: Whatever!

There's all kinds of options: Is it the human circus, making some kind of social commentary on our day-to-day lives? Or is it the three-ring type? Is it a threat or a promise? Does it involve cracked-out AU fanart of Sakura the lion tamer--as Gaara tries to cram someone into the clown car via the tailpipe? Or are you thinking more Vaudeville-flavored outlandishness?

(I still can't draw so well, so the latter's all on you guys.)


Time's up Friday, February 20th. Winner gets some stickers and probably something shiny, because I have ten tons of shiny things over here that need homes. :D

I dunno if posting fics completely unrelated to the challenge is a no no here, but I couldn't find any rules against it.  If I'm wrong please feel free to cause me physical harm.  :)

Title: Of Parties and Awkward People
Rating: T for alcohol and some cursing.  Also contains mild spoilers that are probably a year old.
Summary: Sakura grew up hearing that alcohol lowered your inhibitions. She really wished she had paid attention. Because Gaara had the funniest name in the world.
( Because Gaara just wants someone to touch him! )

 

I dunno, most GaaSaku is complicated and layered and hard to write, which is the way I like it, but I felt like lightening it up.  :P

And I'm also a fan of HidaSaku...but nevermind that!...ahaha.
