Welcome to lemontreeparade    *\o/* A fanbook celebrating the love between Naruto and Sasuke, the closest thing they'll get to a wedding present >_>

The Lemon Tree Parade project is a SasuNaruSasu fanbook in English. It will comprise new and old pieces of work from very talented artists and authors in the fandom. It will be a non-published book with no profit. The book will be bound, not published, so no copyright laws will be violated. We do not claim to hold the copyright for Naruto.

04/04/2009 Update: The book is not available yet, we apologise for the time it's taking to get it produced, but please bear in mind the organisers, artists and authors are doing this out of their free time. So please be patient :3 Watch the community for when it's available.

I'll definitely update this entry as soon as it is available, and post links etc to where to buy it, until then feel free to contact me (via PM or email to silverwyrm [at] hotmail [dot] com) over any other queries.

So I have the results for the poll I posted earlier!

1) There will be no theme table
2) The artists that volunteered will hopefully produce black and white illustrations for each fic
3) We encourage everyone to post their WIPs to the community to share :D
4) In writing please put the word 'lemon' somewhere and in artwork a lemon hidden somewhere or even prominent if you want, as we've decided to theme lemons with the layout and the fanbook title will be 'Lemon Tree Parade'

Hello everybody!

So I kinda overlooked the fact that not everyone knows everyone ^^;;; and just because I have shrines for each of you doesn’t mean others know you personally or your work D: WHICH IS A SHAME! BECAUSE YOU GUYS WERE ASKED TO CONTRIBUTE FOR YOUR AWESOMENESS <333 (feel my scary fangirl love)

So to fix that I present to you the introductory post! Huzzah! *_*

A few select artists (such asjaderlife  munashii_sonzai  and Erica (see the community banner for her lovely artwork)) have expressed interest in producing black and white illustrations of individual fics to put at the end of fics.

Are authors and artists alike willing to post their WIPs to the community?

If they are willing to post to the community we thought authors who wanted their fics fully illustrated could post their WIPs to the comm. This way artists who do want to do full colour illustrations can see and have their artwork inspired by the fic. This works for artists too, if they would post their WIPs and authors are inspired by the art they could write their fics linked to the artwork. This also allows for authors and artists that would like to work individually to do so

And finally on the theme of lemons~!

Say the theme table is completely removed would each author be able to mention the word ‘lemon’ at least once? (It could just be in passing like ‘Naruto's hair was the colour of lemons’ nothing major) And for the artists would they be able to have a lemon in their artwork? (This can be something really tiny, like a button, or an earring or hidden somewhere in the piece)

Seeing as we want to print the fanbook on A4 size paper I've made the layouts that the artists can opt for when claiming the basic minimum of their two pages.

Basically they're the templates you can use when keeping in mind the dimensions for your art, the PDS files are available for download as well I'll provide the link so you can see the DPI resolution, etc.
