After reviewing our personal lives and commitments, the staff of Pern's Legacy has decided that it's time for us to close the game. The site will remain up as long as the players need it to finish their characters' stories, and we encourage them write whatever ending seems appropriate to them. We thank everyone who played on the game for the time they invested in it: it was the players who made the place wonderful, and we hope that you enjoyed that time as much as we did.

When: Afternoon during duty time.
What: Windyl is ditching chores and comes across Reyce grading papers and Anwyn not able to do what she came to do.

Who: Sasha and Devlin

When: Afternoon on a free day.
What: It's storming outside. Sasha found reason to go in the rain and meets up with Devlin when he returns. The two seem to have something in common.

Sieren goes up to visit the rebel hideout and gets his ear talked off by an overzealous history teacher with a gripe against his hall's handling of records. He abides.

Reyce has fallen asleep in the dining hall, much to the chagrin of Amerigo and Anwyn, who have no choice but to sit near him. It's not a pleasant awakening.

I completely forgot to do this for last month, my apologies. But there's a lot this month to make up for it!

A savvy Ista backstabbed Benden's attempts to fix Telgar Weyr's leadership flight in their favor, which meant Telgar's current Weyrleader faced no serious challengers as he reaffirmed his role. The real news, however, came from the Caucus: a minor ruckus about wherry encroachments turned into a huge discovery when a hunting party stumbled upon a secret stash of purportedly rebel weapons (and an injury to Sasha, one of the members of their team). So far, research into the rebels' history has failed to turn up any information, so Lord Lemos offered a money incentive for anyone who could dig up more clues. Instructors' private lives were no less tempestuous while all this was going on: Anwyn turned up pregnant, purportedly by the recently-married Sieren, and stepped into a new job teaching Reasoning; Reyce and Issa finally got the baby boy they'd been hoping for, but on a most unfortunate day: 7-7-7 of the 7th Pass.

When Anwyn drops by to check out the rebel artifacts during a quiet hour, she finds Reyce already there. He makes himself difficult.

With Issa's due date looming, she and Reyce ask her mother to stay with them for a while to look after Asha. Grandmother and granddaughter bond immediately.

What: Amerigo and Sasha meet up again this time in the courtyard. She takes Sasha for a ride. (Not that way, sickos.)

Responding to the rumors about the etiquette teacher's pregnancy, Leftarm calls Anwyn to his office. He presents her with an option.

Not long after hearing the rumors about Anwyn's pregnancy, Reyce runs into Sieren in the storerooms. Luckily Windyl is there to broach the subject with great tact.

Anwyn catches Reyce out at the river port, and the two of them agree that wherries make poor neighbors. Anwyn runs a few ideas by him.

The Ancient Dilemma plot pretty much ran away with the vote, cackling and skipping all the way to the city courthouse to swear in as the Mayor of Plot Town. We have been talking more about how to execute this plot, and have come up with more details and a few changes that we hope you'll enjoy.
