Tutorial: How to create family trees with "Ahnenblatt"
Hi everyone!

Thanks to [info]simitard I just finished an English tutorial on how to create family trees with "Ahnenblatt". It's a nice little freeware genealogy tool that only comes in German, and I've been using it for over a year for my family tree of currently 37 generations. If you'd like to generate a family tree for your legacy family as well you might want to check out "Ahnenblatt" - and now you don't even have to speak German if you want to use it ... :)

it's times like these when it sucks to have a mac, haha. that program seems so cool.

Apparently I saved a copy of her MASSIVE FAMILY TREE and I stumbled across it while organizing my Pictures folder. I was like, OMFG O___O. It still boggles me!

I made a family tree using it with the help of your tutorial, and it turned out well! And it's much easier than messing about in a graphics program trying to come up with something.

Thanks for writing this tutorial! :D
