My legacy. :(

My sims boot-up time is too laggy for me to play so much these days (just for now), and I just finished editing the last three screencaps I took of the 63 total Lee Legacy screencaps.  The script-commentary is pretty much done and I can't "hone" it until the picture-taking is completely done, sooo...

Anybody with a posted legacy want me to edit their screencaps?

Things that I include:
-resizing to a neater, more compact size of your choice or my suggestion
-borders
-Teaser pic / header image (I usually make two or three, just so you have a choice)
-whatever pretty perks I can whip up in Adobe PS 7.o
! I will NUMBER your finished pics for you in order if not already done so.  Meaning, if you upload them to PB or wherever, automatically it should go in order, meaning(!) that you don't have to play hide and seek looking for each and every screencap to go along with the comments you've made.  :)

Check out my journal for examples, I guess.  I have chapter-loads of them!  I also edited some of simkittensims' and simplicist's posts before, too, jsyk.

-I'm gone this weekend as of Friday afternoon.  I work quickly, but I might have to give you the packaged file by the middle or end of the week. 

I'm not some crafty genius at this, and this definitely is NOT a permanent offer; I'm just a bored girl who wants to play the sims vicariously by editing YOUR screencaps...for nothing more than a wee little shout-out if you post publically.

I really can't decide on whether to go with a male or female founder for my TS3 legacy, so it's up to you by answering this question;

Do you prefer male or female founders, and which would you like to see more of? And no, you are not allowed to say something along the lines of "it doesn't matter to me, play what you like!" because that wouldn't help me at all. :<

Do you feel the sims 3 makes it easier or harder to do a legacy? With relationships being harder to maintain and people aging around you, do you think it's harder to find a mate.

What about spares? How do you feel about them moving out and aging on their own. For me I guess It's a good thing as I rarely ever played my spares, but now I feel less like I have the option.


ALSO. Not so much Sims 3 related. Do you read legacys where the graphics are less than steller? Do things like composition of shots and story telling factor in? Or do you just want to look at pretty pictures.

I just wanted to let you guys know that any and all Sims 3 legacy questions and discussions are more than welcomed here. Pinstar has posted saying he's updating the rules for ts3 and we've been seeing some new ts3 legacies pop up!

This by no means means that I want to see the ts2 legacy stop flowing. I'm so excited to check my flist and see posts for both games! Now then, before I run off to do whatever it is I do all day (I couldn't tell you) I have a little poll.

For anyone here interested in challenges/stories/legacies pertaining to The Sims 3 who doesn’t want to have to sift through all the TS2 posts, you should come over to http://community.livejournal.com/simsthree/profile. You can post your TS3 legacies, pic spam, or create/read challenges. You should go take a look. (And join!)

Pixel Trade legacies sound like the cooliest, but I have what is probably going to be the stupidest question to boot, so those of weak constitutions and ill temperaments, please be aware.

Everybody's got all these crazy cute simmies up for grabs, and now, with polite guidance from other simmers, I completely understand that I can download what is essentially just the face of their sims, as opposed to buttloads upon buttloads of custom content.  Cool beans.  I just need to know how to, well, gather them all up in game so that I can incorporate them into the legacy like I'm supposed to, you know?

My question is:  In the "Pixel Trade" 'hood, how do you guys manage to implants these custom sims complete with names and info of the creator?
I mean, I understand about that random bush-hack whatever for townifying them (or at least, I will know, so no worries), but is it all a feat of memory or what?  Do you just make a list or so?

I would love to do the PTL Challenge, but honestly, I don't know bronze from brass when it comes to some random NPCs and CC sims that otherwise have no CC.

I decided that the old way I was doing pictures for my Legacy at celliesims wasn't quite pretty enough. So, I've just about finished completing a new Photoshop Action to automatically edit the pictures, but I'm not sure which effects would look better. The differences aren't too significant, but I'd like some input on which ones look best, as well as what size I should use for the images. So... it's poll time!

Hi everyone!

long time lurker, first time poster looking for some help.
A while ago, I read about a legacy challenge that was a mix up of a whole bunch of different kinds. It included the rainbow challenge, and each colour was a generation, and each generation had a challenge associated with it. The only thing I really remember about it is that the 3rd or 4th generation is the Black generation...and that the goal is to fulfill fears instead of wants.
I can't remember where I read about this challenge, and I can't remember the name of it. I'm hoping someone could direct me to the rules of it, as I really want to give it a try.
