As most of you probably already know, tomorrow is Lee's birthday, and I've developed sort of an ongoing tradition over the past few years of sending him an e-mail consisting of birthday wishes from his fans. So, if you're interested in having a birthday wish from you included, I invite you to do one of the following:

1) Post your birthday wish for Lee in the comments to this entry. Please include the name you want to sign your wish with - either your real name or a pseudonym, doesn't matter to me -- however you want me to refer to you in the e-mail. If you don't do that, I'll have to use your LJ username to identify you in the e-mail. Please note that you don't have to be an LJ user to comment here, but if you're not, your comment will come up as Anonymous, so be sure to include your name in the comment itself.

2) Send your wish via e-mail to me at webmaster [at] leetergesen [dot] com, if you'd rather not post it publicly.

You can say pretty much as much or as little as you wish, but I do respectfully ask that we keep the wishes within the relative boundaries of good taste. *g* In other words, this is a birthday greeting, so "I want to lick you all over!" would not really be an appropriate sentiment (even if it's perfectly understandable. *g*)

I'll be sending the e-mail late Saturday night (EDT), so let's try to get the wishes in before then, if possible. Feel free to pimp this post in communities or to anyone you feel might be interested in sending a wish. I'll try to get the word out but I'm kinda out of the loop these days.

As the looooonng holiday weekend winds down here in the States, I'm already looking ahead to *next* weekend. Which, thankfully, is only three days away.

Saturday, July 8th also happens to be Lee's 41st birthday. !!! So celebrate in style. Here's a lineup on U.S. cable (especially if you're lucky enough to get the Sleuth channel. Anyone?)

(1) Start off the day with "Wayne's World" at 10:15am on atMAX (one of Cinemax's variations).

(2) Later there's Lee's first appearance in Homicide: Life on the Street. His episode, "Ghost of a Chance," airs at 5:00pm on Sleuth.

(3) Cap it off with fresher Lee on "Law & Order" -- his "Ghosts" episode from last year, re-running at 10:00pm on NBC.

As for other birthday celebrations, crank up the Led Zeppelin and await further instructions from callmerizzo! :)

I'm planning to send Lee a virtual birthday card later tonight from the peeps, like I did last year. Anyone who wants to be included, just send me your greetings, comments, whatevah, and I'll add them to the card. Sorry to throw this together so last-minute, but real life is absolutely running me to the ground lately. And on that note, thank you SO MUCH to everyone who sent good wishes/vibes for my dad. He's still in the hospital and things are kind of tricky, but he's feeling well and we're optimistic. *kisses all of you*
