Welcome, Lecterphiles! This community is for fans of the good doctor Hannibal Lecter. Whether you're a fan of the books, films, or both - please, join us! Here, we appreciate that there is more to the Hannibal tetralogy than first meets the eye, and we enjoy discussing these things with like-minded people. Whether you just want to post Hannibal fanfiction or discuss his relationship with Clarice, or even Mischa, you're welcome here. Perhaps you've caught a mistake in the film and want to debate it. Even more interesting, perhaps you've found a subtle detail in the story that we've overlooked! Whatever the case may be, if you're a Lecterphile, you'll be in good company here. It should be noted that it is perfectly acceptable to discuss other films, books, and/or characters... IF, and only if, they are in some way linked to Dr. Lecter, the movies, et cetera. If you want to write up an essay comparing Hannibal Lecter to the catepillar from Alice in Wonderland, by all means do so - but keep it intelligent, hm? With the latest release, Hannibal Rising, we might even be inclined to speak of Gaspard Ulliel, the young Hannibal Lecter. We aren't making money off of this, nor are we trying to. On another note, we do not condone murder or cannibalism here. Do not bring that nonsense to this community, it simply does not belong here, and it may be considered a violation of livejournal.com's TOS. If gore is all you have taken away from any of the books or movies, then I believe I speak for all of us when I say you have missed the point.
